- Servatur Puerto Azul is our biggest hotel to date. Have a completely new experience after the refurbishment of our complex. Located in a privileged location, the 4-star hotel offers large facilities and spectacular panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, with all-inclusive service, among other board types.
Get ready for holidays in style: five swimming pools, a large solarium, multi-sports court, spa, gym, restaurants, a special area for children… Facilities and services for all ages. Also, the access to the gym and spa is free and unlimited for guests staying at the hotel. But wait, there is more. There is an exclusively adults only area, where you can relax, unwind and enjoy the fantastic infinity ocean views, and a splash area with slides: fun for the little ones is guaranteed. Also, the entertainment programme includes professional shows and live music so the adults can enjoy as kids.
The hotel also has wide gastronomic offer for all tastes. The main buffet restaurant with different stations, show cooking, vegetarian menus, among others. In the pool bar you can enjoy the best cocktails and snacks.

Thinking of going here with my elderly mum and dad. Is it easy to get around or would it be too hilly for them as it looks like the rooms are built into a large hill.
Hi thanks for your comment appreciate it. We had to get 3 different lifts or many steps to get to our room as the hotel is built in mountain and rooms are on many levels .Maybe if you ask them for a accessible room they might be able to arrange this for you also there is a good taxi service just outside the hotel to get around. The taxi service is cheap and would only cost around 5 euro to get down to harbour or beach.
We stayed there last January for a week instead of our beloved RIU Vistamar which is across the road from this hotel. BIG MISTAKE room only had a bed in plus shower room. We couldn’t unpack our suit cases as there wasn’t enough draws, coat hangers or space to put our cases. We looked onto the back of another hotel that was in front of our balcony. Food was terrible we had to eat out every night and the drinks, I wanted 2 small beers at a time and a vodka for the wife but they would only let me take 2 drinks at a time. So I had to go back and join the queue to get another beer and this was an all inclusive hotel. Need to change their policy on the bar service. We also found the staff on reception ignorant. Had to pay for safe, towels and water which I thought always come in the price of all inclusive like the RIU Vistamar does. Anyway just come back from the RIU yesterday and after 2 weeks had a fantastic time there as usual.

I received so much grief after this which I'm surprised as was.just a honest review on our experience. Would never tell someone not to go there. Will have to check out Riu if go back again. We stayed there in December 2023. It was very clean. Obviously there were times when someone would get up from a table leaving a mess, but staff would be there within a minute or two to clean it. Food selection was amazing. My children ages 10 and 12 absolutely loved it. Kids entertainment was brilliant. We intend to go again this winter.

I'm not trying to put people off going there it's just my hotel experience as a bed and breakfast guest which we stayed for 10 nights. Thanks for comment and enjoy your future holidays
not a chance your telling the truth. we stayed there 6 times before the rebuild. we stayed there last month and we had a class room and teated like king and queen. food was amazing and our room was turned over every day. we travel 4 holidays a year and the azul gave us top service.
I'm glad u had a good experience. We Was obviously treated differently. The hotel itself was nice but as said in video review it had issues. For me if your all inclusive it's a hotel for u. For us we didn't have same experience as you and food we had wasn't hot as it should be. Every hotel review I do on my channel is a honest. Also everyone is entitled to a oppinion and this is based on our experience. We went here on our honeymoon we even emailed hotel to let them no it was a special occasion and not even a mention.
Stayed here Sept/Oct '23 and April '24(all-inclusive).
The cleanliness is half and half, I agree the floors don't get washed daily, but the bins were always emptied and the towels always replaced, along with clean bedding.
Not sure what you're meaning about temperature of food. Breakfast is made up mostly of pastries, and they're not supposed to be piping hot. Hot breakfast selection is never going to be the best being abroad (because we're used to an english fry). As for the temperature, it's mainly the same in england as it's self service.
The hotel is more focused on kids. I don't agree with 2 main pools being used for kids activities. The kids spend more time in the main pools than they do in a dedicated kids area. The adult sections are there, but not deep as such. The infinity pool is nice, but overran with kids and adults acting like kids!
As for the silicone around the shower area, there is none. The quality overall in the hotel is not great, and it'll be run down very quickly.
You sound more annoyed that you didn't get special treatment because it was a honeymoon, and no double bed.
The all-inclusive food is decent by the way, and cooked and served in front of you. Tables are always being cleared and cleaned. Even when eating, they take used plates so you can always use a fresh one.
Overall this hotel is more family oriented, but not worth the money in my opinion.
As for deposits on items such as towels and an iron, that's standard in most places to prevent theft.
Thanks for comment. As I said in my hotel review it was based on a bed and breakfast basis. The temperature of breakfast wasn't good. We never experienced any other food like all inclusive people like you. We never expected any special treatment. Glad u had good experience. Yh cleaning wasn't gd as should be. For a brand new hotel they was signs of need for improvement. I'm not saying for people to avoid this hotel I'm just saying on a bed and breakfast basis it's not for us. why didnt you ask for your room to be turned over? we had beer and soft drinks stations everywhere in the place. the pool bar has cocktails and all the stuff. th food is amazing. this hotel is top of the game. dont let this chopper tell you otherwise
The drink stations was for all inclusive only. I did a honest review as a bed a breakfast guest. We had to rely on the
Spar shop as bars when we stayed was mostly never open to buy drinks We all have different experiences. The only time bar was open I ordered a cocktail and the man struggled to make it and tasted like pop. Glad u had a better experience but we never and I only ever review on my experience and everyone is entitled to their own opinion but cheers for your comment
Looks like a nice hotel! I'm going there in July and wanted to ask about the beach is it far ? Honestly in your opinion how is Puerto Rico as a town ( lots of things to do or see or is it more of a relax kind of vibe ? ) thank you
Hi its a nice hotel. If your all inclusive then it's for u.if u not then there isn't much on offer. The spa attached to hotel is very cheap especially for alcohol. Would take about half hour to 40 mins walking down steps to beach. The is taxi rank outside hotel which costs about 5 euros down mountain to beach. There isn't much around. There is europa Centre which is shops,food,live music live sports screens, there is a ferry down near Beach which costs €13 return to puerto de mogan which is good on a Friday as there is market day every Friday. There is also mogan mall which is gd for food,shopping, bars which also costs around 5 euro to get to. @Exploring-With-Carl I noticed you gave the food a low rating which is disappointing. How many times did you eat there and was it only breakfast?
We decided to go bed and breakfast as we planned on eating out while exploring gran canaria. We had breakfast 4 times out of 10 days. They was good food options it just wasn't hot which was disappointing. Please check my other gran canaria videos and subscribe. Any other questions feel free to ask. The later on food mite of been better which we had options to have dinner buffet meal but because of breakfast food temperature we decided against it. Hope u have better experience if your going
