I want CarPlay to work with USB without operating automatic Bluetooth. When I turn off when changing music or phone rings, Bluetooth turns on again and I have to disconnect the option again, so that only CarPlay usb works, how do I configure them to be independent?

first need to know which screen u get, where u get it, different screen working way different, problem cause this maybe different
for qualcomm, for LHD car, if when u listen to OEM radio, then back to android to play media, this may happen, normal

In this video you connected the Android unit to the original Merc navigation unit, is that required, or can I remove the original Merc screen and nav unit completely? What will I lose is I remove the Merc navigation unit from the car? I have ntg 5.0, 5.1 or 5.2
this kind of screen when u install, u get 2 system, one is OEM system, means all oem functions still there, u can control via that, another is our android system, u can switch between android and OEM

Dear Sirs, I bought this Android for GLK X4 2010 ... installation is complete and everything works finie except one thing CarPlay. When the system is connected to the Iphone 11 (or another because we checked with few models) Android is moving automatically to Zlink (which is Ok and normal situation) but we see screen with info "connetcing" and nothing is happen even after 10 min. Still is info "connecting". Another thing is a fact taht on Iphone screen there is no "push up" information that CarPlay is trying to connect Iphone (normally user should agree to give access - first time). But I see that Iphone is connected to the CarPlay (there is Wi-Fi icon with this info is Wi-Fi settings folder). Can you help me what is wrong that we can't use this function? I saw some movies with similar problem where somebody has resterted his Android by using "restart" button, not swith off energy but restart. He made it with different type of Android but in his case it helped him. Maybe I should do same but I don;t know where is restart button in this type of Android. I see tow small wholes. Probably one is microphone and second is restart (but no description). Can you confirm which one is restart (to not destroy microphone)? thank you andavnce for your help.
1. upper one is reset hole of our screen, so confirm ur screen is from us,
2. to carplay, delete ur phone bt list all other bt name, and delete all ur bt list from screen and ur OEM benz if has--if u think this not the way u like, click setting-find system info-find factory recorvery, then click it, then connect to BT, then run carplay/zlink
to this, keep cellphone and screen wifi on, then test

if ur screen is qualcomm one like ours, click setting-system-camera-set to OEM, then test, if still no working and u bought from us, write to the seller email

I have this exact unit, it lasted 1.5 months. Only the OEM functions work now. The screen is 12.5,I can see my OEM data, so I'm keeping it. I paid roughly 700, I thought it would last a couple years. When using android auto, it goes all too hell. I wish i had better news.

Hello! I've cliked "Collect CANbus data" and Canbus 1 and Canbus 2 appeared. Nothing happens. I cannot uncheck either one of them. One of them still remains checked. Is this something wrong? The screen is exactly as yours. Did I do a mistake by clicking "collect canbus data"??

it depends on your camera is original or aftermarket one, also in settings, has parking distance control, disable it if original cam, if aftermarket cam, need to choose 360 cam to see full screen, but that way also has no parking line

When I go to android screen and put my car in reverse it doesn't show. Also when I click on ntg to go back to mercedes original software my system displays the mercedes clock command.
I have to take the wire out of the screen and reconnect it for my original mercedes screen to show up I cannot switch from andriod to original :(

where u get the screen? normally from oem switch to android, touch oem menu, then can, if can not, most possible screen has problems, then u need warranty from ur seller, to rearview camera, u need check installation+setting, however, details need check where u get the screen, so best suggestion is contact seller to check

to benz system, it has many difference, to our screen, check radio UI we sent, then can clarify, cause our ntg4 and 4x screen same, only cable different, but to ntg5x, screen and hardness both different

I bought a car with this system and my phone connects perfectly only thing is when I connect nothing plays from the speakers but the radio? I’ve tried almost everything idk what to do. I havnt been able to listen to music in my car since I got it due to this. Can anyone help?
if this music u are talking is about android side, check if all ur android app or music or video not work, if yes, u need check ur installation, check car ntg system if appear or not, check if ntg4x or ntg5x, if ntg4x, check if has aux or not, if ntg5x, check which usb audio works, usb or bluetooth etc, most important, u need contact the seller of this car, ask where he got the screen, then try contact see if the seller can help, market has over 20 factories, different working way for screen, question like this has little chance to solve ur issue, lack lots of details.
Take a look in the Android settings volume. Mine was muted there the other day, even if I dont know why.

@@vireakam1572 u can use multimeter test if the rose cable has power or not when reverse, if not have, check if setting or screen issue, if have, then need check setting for camera part if ok, still get issue, if bought the screen from us, write to us via email or skype, if from others, u need check with ur seller directly to see, not all factories screen works same way

on upper left side has reset hole, can poke it to restart the screen but it won't erase data in screen, if want to erase data, in settings, system info has system recovery, click it to restore factory settings. But this is how our screen works, if nout bought from us, better ask your supplier to confirm

My silver box does not fit the plug from my screen. It has 5 pins on both top and bottom row but the one with my car only has 4 holes
if urs only 4pin round LVDS, on need the silver box at all, ask ur seller send correct cable, cause our cable just do not need the silver box, has another LVDS, like video u can see

Hi, i have been using the same device (msm 8953 for arm64) for a week now on a year 2014 SLK.
The bluetooth pairing is terrible, i have a hard time connecting my mobile phones to the head unit and once i restarted my car engine, its almost impossible to re-connect, i even tried to unpair and delete and repair but to no avail.
I tried with Huawei and Samsung phones, an iphone 6 was able to pair slightly more easily but connection isnt stable too.
Whenever i turn on my car engine, "phone" shows that bluetooth is paired but whenever i make a call or there's an incoming call, it will not cut the on-going audio (Spotify and Waze on Android head unit), and i cant hear anything accept from my mobile's headset or mobile speaker, so now i have to use my phone speaker to talk while i am driving, this is really frustrating.
And whats worse, sometimes the unit freezes, there is nothing that i could do to reboot it excepting for restarting my car engine which is obviously ridiculous while i am driving.
I went back to my installer but looks like they are clueless, they asked me to send the car back for checking which i did once, but they could not diagnose the problem because it all worked well at that very moment, yesterday there was no sound from the audio while i use Spotify and Waze, i recorded a video and sent to the installer, a moment later he asked me to check whether there is sound from the car radio, and when i took a video and turn on the car engine, audio was fine again, like what the heck??!!
So the installer kept saying they never face similar issues with other vehicles, i am obviously at wits end trying to figure out solutions myself, googling and watching youtube videos!
Anyone faces similar problem?

Also there is no way i can try to connect bluetooth under Android system, i read about it online, some say the bluetooth is crippled.
@@CharisLeeRealEstate ur screen seems has lots of issues, if bt is connected, but that working way not heard before-u can ask ur seller send u the files to do upgrading, and before that, setting-system info, do a factory recorvery. then check if bt issues solved
when drive screen reboot, this need check if cable loose, if not, and this happened always, then this unit i think u need ship back to fix [after upgrading still so].

@@CarlifemallEmily update: it is indeed a defective unit, the screen had vertical lines all over before it died 2 days ago. The seller had since replaced it with another unit,
now phone bluetooth connects swiftly, everything is working just how it's supposed to be. Fingers crossed it stays this way as im always on the move, handsfree is essential.
