And what they learned is what everyone else in this shocking situation learns: If the child won't speak at will (they don't), be perfectly clear (they can't) and un-ashamed (they aren't), police can do nothing. Law enforcement cannot arrest a person without evidence. Evidence is not a grown, dressed man in the bedroom of a naked child. Recall also that "Pete" (earlier) related a tale that the child walked in on him naked in a bathroom. This quite possibly was "confessed" because something happened and "Pete" was afraid she'd tell, so he set-up an "I was naked" story. A pediatritian may be able to say a child was "penetrated," but by whom is not possible. A finger doesn't leave sperm behind. Here is exactly what it looks like to get testimony from a fearful child who doesn't even fully understand what happened: The child is not permitted to sit on mom's lap while explaining what happened. The child is not permitted to hold onto mom or dad. The child cannot be asked leading questions, such as: "Did Pete touch you in your privates?" The child has to sit in front of a camera and confidently describe what happened and name the person who did "it." The child barely understands what "it" is, just that it's wrong. The grandmother will be horrified, mostly by her own lack of action when it was needed and her failing "intuition" into such matters. Little Lamb will recover from the violation, because she will be able to comprehend that he is at fault, not her, but she will struggle her entire life with the fact that loved ones didn't love her. I have been speaking out on this because I believe with my whole heart and mind that's it true; it's just way too familiar. The pattern is there. You are victim shaming to do anything other than believe Little Lamb. If all Jonathan was after was the Ministry, he'd have "submitted," so to speak.

By reason of Jonathan's position at Daystar of VP and Board member, if Joni is guilty, Jonathan is also guilty. He and Suzy kept quiet about the supposed SA and misuse of company funds right up to the moment Doug entered the picture and they got married, which threatened Jonathan's position and inheritance, in his eyes. He sent the blackmail email which said they would be quiet if Joni would guarantee him to be President. When that didn't happen, suddenly, Jonathan and Suzy remembered the SA, after how many years? and went public with that secret recording of the meeting, EDITED to make Joni look bad and them good, supposedly, to spite Joni and smear her character. How many people are Jonathan and Suzi going to accuse of SA of their daughter? First it was a boy at daycare, then it wasn't, then it was a "man taller than Daddy" (what four or five year old comes up with something like that on their own?), then it was Pete, and I even read where someone said it was the older brother??? What Jonathan and Suzy have done, in essence, in going public with their corporate power struggle, is drag their daughter through the mud PUBLICALLY, by using her as leverage in a blackmail scheme gone bad. If Steve says Marcus was the most "integrous man he's ever know" that's pretty sad becase Marcus was in a 7 year adulterous relationship. Yuck. Steve does not address the well-documented lies about "Pete" (being cleared when he wasn't, etc) and the outrageous mokery Joni's marriage to Doug is to the watching public. All those lovey-dovey photos of Joni and Doug turn my stomach - he is married to another woman. How does Doug's "first wife" and his children feel when they see Doug in the arms of another woman, living it up with black tie events and celebrities. The beyond-lavish lifestyle is disturning, but Steve doesn't address that. Its like a mop trying to deflect from their own greed and deceptions.

Mr. Wilhite, you are correct in your assessment. I don't know this family, none of them, but have listened to multiple videos and whine fests by Jonathan and Suzy, watched Joni's wedding, where Jonathan was grinning from eat to ear, watched Marcus interview Joni, watched multiple podcast vultures jumping on the bandwagon for clicks and attention. It's unbelievable. Here's my take on this situation and I don't have a dog in this fight but see clearly what is happening here. Jonathan and Suzy are running about accusing Joni of covering up SA of their daughter and also of misusing company funds for personal reasons. By reason of Jonathan's position at Daystar of VP and Board member, if Joni is guilty, Jonathan is also guilty. He and Suzy kept quiet about the supposed SA and misuse of company funds right up to the moment Doug entered the picture and they got married, which threatened Jonathan's position and inheritance, in his eyes. He sent the blackmail email which said they would be quiet if Joni would guarantee him to be President. When that didn't happen, suddenly, Jonathan and Suzy remembered the SA, after how many years? and went public with that secret recording of the meeting, EDITED to make Joni look bad and them good, supposedly, to spite Joni and smear her character. How many people are Jonathan and Suzi going to accuse of SA of their daughter? First it was a boy at daycare, then it wasn't, then it was a "man taller than Daddy" (what four or five year old comes up with something like that on their own?), then it was Pete, and I even read where someone said it was the older brother??? What Jonathan and Suzy have done, in essence, in going public with their corporate power struggle, is drag their daughter through the mud PUBLICALLY, by using her as leverage in a blackmail scheme gone bad. I don't believe for a minute that either of them have their daughter's best interest at heart. All they care about is money and power and they will do anything, including blackmail and using their daughter's supposed SA, to get it. Just think how they have scarred this little girl for life. With their public professing of caring about their daughter, EVERYONE in the world now knows her most private information. Now, going forward, her classmates, her peers, any future employer, future suitors, husband, will know of her history. She will have to live this the rest of her life thanks to her "caring" parents. If they had not brought this supposed SA up these years later, that child may not have even remembered it, at such a young age. This SA accusation should NEVER have gone public, for the child's sake and future emotional trauma. Outrageous!
This whole debacle is nothing more than a corporate power play because of jealousy, feeling threatened by the new man in his mother's life, pride, coveting, bearing false witness, smearing, deceit, revenge, and more, all because Jonathan thinks he owns his mother and is an entitled brat that never grew up. The very idea that Jonathan thinks he gets to approve his mother's marriage... is just over the top. He is trying to destroy everything his father and mother built. He had nothing to do with building Daystar, but "if I can't have it, I'm going to destroy it and my mother along with it" is the impression I got from the beginning. Imagine, stomping your feet at a place of employment and telling the boss (Joni) what he was and wasn't going to do. Then there's Suzy, miss nine inch nails, pouting, flippant, arrogant, disrespectful, running the show, instigating. Honey, if you don't like the job description, LEAVE. Why would either of them want to continue at such a dreadful place of employment if they hate their job so much? Let them go to another corporation and stomp their feet and see how far they get. What corporate boss would put up with their antics? Not. One. Guaranteed. Jonathan and Suzy wouldn't have a nickel to rub together if not for his mother enduring her husband's adultery, continuing on with Daystar, for the children's sake, the employee's sake, the audience sake. Surely she has suffered and now Jonathan wants to rub salt in the wound because "I don't wike Doug. Whaaaa". Funny how "adultery" didn't seem to bother him when it was his father but now then, oh, clutch my pearls, this "adultery" is different. Must run to every podcast to destroy my terrible mother because, whaaaa, she wouldn't make meeee Pwesident. Whaaa!. Grow up! Joni should have canned his backside a long time ago. You know who these two remind me of? Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the "Harkles". That's right. Jonathan and Suzy are the Harkles of Daystar Television. Ungrateful, whining, "woe is me", look at meeee, undeserving, jealous, disrespectful brats.
And don't get me started on these "Mrs. Olsen of Little House on the Praire" gossip mongers of the podcast world. I cannot believe how all these so-called Christians are gleefully smearing, bearing false witness, judge, jury, condemning, without even bothering to get Joni's side of the story. Disgraceful behavior. I think most of the small time "Christian" podcasters are jealous of Joni and her success. Like you said, they are using naive Jonathan and Suzy for clicks and money. All of them are piling on except for a slight few. I'm going to post some videos from Pastor Shane Vaughn below this post. I hope you listen to them. His views are worth listening to. I hope Joni is more than successful and continues on in her efforts to lead Daystar, ALONG WITH HER HUSBAND.

Those tapes revealed spiritual abuse unlike anything I have ever heard. Older men scoffing, twisting scripture, behaving in the most immature way towards a younger man who came across as THE smartest one in the room. Will never understand a mother allowing her son to be ganged up on and treated in such an abusive way. Sickened listening to the good ‘ol boys trying to strong-arm Jonathan.
