David's expression at 6:28 when he realizes she cracked open one of his new bottles is priceless.
😂😂😂😂😂 He wasn’t mad 🫣🤷🏼♀️🥃
Another great video. I’ve had Rockhill Farms once and it’s still my favorite bourbon from mash build 2. Elmer is good but Rockhill is really good. Seems a little older and has nice spice.
I thought it was great Dave seemed bummed Jamie opened the RHF. But you got to have it and you seemed truly happy tasting it before you knew what it was. Good for you guys
Daniel it was a great bottle. Excited to taste it after we give it sometime to open up. Thank you so much for watching!
You don't have to be mean to Jamie David. She obviously loves doing this and she gets really excited when she thinks she has you fooled. Which is not often. Love this channel, keep up the good work!
Thank you so much Mike☺️🥃
I tried Rock Hill Farms at a bar about a month ago and really loved it. Probably my favorite BT product that I've tried so far. I've yet to try Blanton's but I do quite enjoy Eagle Rare and EH Taylor Small Batch. Would you put RHF over ER and EHT? Thanks for the fun review!
Wow that is a hard question. Hmmm that would be a good blind lol. If I had to answer now. EHT small batch, then RHF would be more melt in your mouth good. Not bottles you’d want to go quickly. I enjoy ER to sip on, it’s easy and good. Most of the time we have some in the Speakeasy. Victor I would need to blind them all😂😂 to give you a better answer. I’m excited to try RHF after it opens up more, super impressed with it.
I can find tons of Rock Hills Farms in South Alabama, but it’s all 499.99 a bottle is it worth that price
No way… lol I wouldn’t buy any bourbon/whiskey at that price. We got the bottle with a group sale from someone who wanted to sell their collection. Thank you for watching☺️🥃
@@jaimesrow I’ll go to the local store here and I’ll send you a picture on Instagram. They always have Blantons, BT, Elmer, Eagle Rare, Rock Hills, etc. stocked to the max but they are outrageous on price
finally got one for a deuce. RHF is the nectar of the gods
Jaimie is a good entertainer and knows how to steal David’s slogan lol
Just picked up a RHF yesterday for $70 at bevmo. Never had it before. Gonna open it on New Years Day with my brother and try it alongside some BT allocated bottles
I’d pick the one on the left.
Currently 11/25/24 Rock hill secondary $250 never seen on a shelf. Blanton’s I’ve seen plenty at $100 a bottle
Awesome video, great information. Blantons going for $159 in Florida.
Awesome video you two!!!
I love anything from Buffalo Trace... Cheers!!!
Same… some fall high up on my list, some further down. I enjoy most of these bottles. Cheers Archie!
Had Rock Hill for first time a few weeks ago. Love it! Love Blantons but would take RHFs over Blantons. I had to search out some folks that have done a taste on RUclips.
David has got his stuff together! Nice job. Rockhill is tough as you know what to get.
It should be blanton's gold vs rock hill farms.
RHF is my favorite. I’ve done 2 different blinds with RHF in it. It won each one hands down. One had 7 tasters and it was the unanimous #1
Great video guys! Really glad to see you cracked the RHF already……even if David didn’t know hahahaha.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to get not only this bottle but giving us a great deal on the bottles you did! David wasn’t mad. He directly shows me bottles I’m not allowed to open. This was a great bottle. Thanks again! Cheers ☺️🥃
This is what I love about your channels…..the opening and drinking!
Thank you guys so much for doing this video. I have to agree with both of you. While the blantons is good, I think the RHF is better. I would be interested to see how a blantons gold at 100 proof would do against RHF
Nice picks Jaime! Never seen a Rock Hill…have several bottles of Blanton but none touch Eagle Rare or Taylor. Thanks from your biggest fan in Texas ( lived in Fredericksburg for seven years before moving to Texas)
Stuart wow how long ago did you live in the burg? We’ve been here for a long time. Cheers! Thank you so much for watching☺️🥃
@@jaimesrow Hi Jaime! We are from Va, I am from Surry and wife from Waynesboro. Met in college in NC and still at it.
We were in Fred from 86-93 and transferred to Texas with intent to come back…hmmm that was in 93 so 30 years ago..still have friends all over Va and sure Fred has changed a bunch. Lived in Breezewood back when it was country! Oh well thanks for your show and be well!
@@stuartrollings602 Awesome. We haven’t been here that long but we like it. Thank you for sharing your story, cheers ☺️🥃
Blantons hands down
I like Blanton’s but love Rock Hill Farms
Not a fan of the bt hype. Blanton is basically a $30 bourbon in a $30 bottle.
Nice show Jamie!
Do not disagree with you! There are a few BT bottles I absolutely love, Blanton’s is not on that list lol. Obviously pending on price and availability. We own one bottle of Blanton’s in the Speakeasy and the rest we purchase at $65 for raffle giveaways. Regardless of the hype, taste and price some still want one, just one Blanton’s as an addition to their collection.
RHF! Definitely the proof but it is very good quality mash bill#2 Blantons SFTB is a challenge for sure
Excellent video!
David's head turned red. Idk how I'd react too.
Wonder how the rest of the night went. Yikes.
He wasn’t mad entirely. He’s pretty clear what bottles I can and cannot touch on the store haul shelf. Or I would not have done it😳🥃
I know it ist what you are talking about but I just got back from Virginia and Bowman Brothers 90 proof small batch is amazing
Lmao RHF 100? Rock Hill goes for 300 to 350 on secondary, ridiculous I know but that's what it goes for
Yikes. Yeah we got 5 good bottles for $600. The guy gave us a great deal. RHF was one of them. We wouldn’t pay that much!
Yeah. BT single barrels have gotten really inconsistent lately.
Can I just get the empty bottle of Rock Hill Farms.
Lol. Cheers Ian ☺️🥃
i got lucky and got 2 RHF one is almost gone.
I have the RHF on the wish, list and based on what I hear from this video. I really really what It now.
Rock hill farms is $300-$500 around NYC
Blanton's is $100-$200
Cheers🥃
Cheers to you☺️🥃
Rock on🥃👍😊
Happy New Year William☺️🥃
I liked regular blantons. Yesterday I came across a rock hill farms for 299$ and beside it was a blantons gold for 199$ . I bought the gold thought the rock hill was a bit high. Hope I made the right choice
Rockhill from my limited experience.
Excited to see how it opens up
6 months in and still haven't managed to get a Blantons yet
We try to do giveaways when we get them. Thursday we gave away a baby one along with the giveaways. Our store drops them at $65. Which is reasonable for one but wouldn’t pay more. You are not missing out on anything amazing.
@@jaimesrow Thanks Jaime Jamie Jammie. 65 also in Ohio. Came close twice. Missed out by two places in line, then one. I suppose if I got in line 3 hours before store opening......
I watched this on mutr multiple times.
Just picked up 2 bottles of blantons for 75 each. I can’t find any weller that’s not overpriced in the pnw.
Can’t wait to try it but for me it’s dryuary..
Good for you! Very important for everyone to have breaks.. thank you for staying connected with us through dryuary ☺️
Personally I’m not down with either. Just do not give into all the hype etc for BT juice. In the end if I had to choose I’d take the Rock Hill Farms. Sure wouldn’t be out looking for either. Nice vid though!!!!
Totally get it! We happen to be big BT fans but going forward will not pay crazy prices on any bottles. RHF happened to come with a bunch of bottles for a good price so it was hard to pass up on. Thank you for watching!
@@jaimesrow at a good price/Msrp RHF would be a get anytime. For me I guess it’s all the bs and taters etc that comes with any BT involvement.
My wife got me a bottle of Blanton’s for Christmas and paid 150.00 for it, I’ll tell you guys not a big fan definitely not worth the money
Do you generally like Buffalo Trace products ??🥃🐃
Way overpriced I got a store pick for a friend for $70
Not sure why it cost so much maybe because I live in Upstate NY
@@Jared40 not sure really pretty new to Bourbon , but really like Wild Turkey and Elijah
@@frankp5362 I live in Colorado and few stores that have Blanton's here jack up the price to near $200 it's a allocated whiskey which means Buffalo Trace which makes Blanton's only ships a certain amount to states hence why it's harder to find and cause of that stores jack up the price higher. The MSRP for it really is $59 I believe or somewhere near that
I think they are both overpriced.
Yes!
Blanton's or as I call it ass in a glass. Way over priced and is the worst tasting bourbon whiskey I have ever tried. I would recommend to anyone out there to never buy Blanton's it's a total waste of money and taste.
Appreciate your opinion Donnie☺️🥃
Personally I've had blantons, got it at retail and it's just ok. It's over hyped and the fact that people would pay secondary prices is absurd. No bottle is worth secondary price and I honestly dislike that they're willing pay some of those prices. As long as there's people like this, the secondary market won't die out.
Agree… there are some bottles we may pay more for but Blanton’s is not one of them. Case by case. We’ve bought in to hype along with others and that is where the lessons are learned. 2023 will be about making good choices 😂 Happy New Year to you! Thank you for watching!
@Beyond the Row that's understandable. I myself try to not give into the hype and if there's a bar I can try something I've been on the fence about, I'll do that before purchasing said bottle(s). Keep up the good work, do enjoy the content overall.
