We are a 6 figure income couple and had very little saved and not much cash lying around the preverbal".

emergency" that was us. The big thing was debt all kinds of it, cars mortgage (although our home isn't a high price one), student loans for our kids, and of course credit cards.
One day we just got sick of being broke and went total scorched earth and became frugal overnight. Paid it all off, it took almost 5 years but now we have no debt and this year our savings rate is 50% on basically the same income that had us perpetually broke. So for us it is mainly staying out of debt and watching our spending, at first it was a real effort to save in our HISA and 401Ks but now it's actually fun watching our money grow. No car or vacation or neighborhood is worth being broke or financially unstable.

Jan, my favorite towel ever is Ikea's waffle towel. So thin, but so thirsty! And dries so fast that it doesnt get stinky. The washcloth is a little bigger so i can grab the opposite corners to scrub my back, even with my old, sore shoulders. Also, they have a loop for hanging! I hate those polyester microfiber ones!

I camped years ago in CO, NM, AZ and UT for two weeks in a truck camper with three men, a great uncle, husband and a brother. Some years later I camped in a tent with a husband, a 9 y/o son and 7 y/o daughter. We camped for two weeks in SD, WY, MT, MN. I have been handicapped since I was 23 months old, I am now 75-1/2 y/o. I really need a mini van. I’m a person that has loved closed in sleeping areas I know it would definitely fit me. I do love the wilderness and seclusion one thing that always made me happy was hiking in the deep woods alone and waiting for the moment I can sleep in a little tiny tent with my sleeping bag minivan here sleeping bag tent I’m ready

A great content video. You and Kym are professional bug killers! I'm very impressed with your do diligence on how to win the war against bugs and vermin! I do have a bug zapper that Ive successfully killed bugs with. Of course they were Connecticut bugs so I might still need the heavy duty artillery. 😄 I love your fireplace heater. Definitely safer than Mr Buddy. The ambience is so relaxing and no Smokey smelling clothing.

This is my first comment though I have followed you from your very first video. Everyone has noticed and I did too. You are glowing from within! I will be 74 in a couple weeks and you are an inspiration. I am very tempted to get the fireplace for our sprinter RV but am more interested in the beautiful tablecloth. I've scoured the internet to no avail. That made me happier than any other product. Might you share where you found it? And it we chance to meet up down the road, you will find I also copied your black-light butterflies as they made me happy too. You have many admirers and women who have been inspired to look at life with newly opened eyes. I am definitely among them and thank you warmly for sharing coming out of your cocoon so subtly yet triumphantly.

FYI Jan & others. I use & love SOAP NUTS / ECO NUTS for laundry . One box lasted me over 2 years ! They last lots longer that the directions even says ! Took about 6 in one little muslim bag to Tahiti on my 18 day retreat & shared with my Bungalow mate there. Still had plenty of use left after that trip. Nothing else needed exceot my wool dryer balls & few drops of essential oils ! No toxins for me .
