Zach's adventure began 7 years ago in an RV, and now he's on his third van, a high-top cargo van that he absolutely adores. Originally from Beverly Hills, Zach sought a change in his life to experience a more authentic and fulfilling existence.Currently, he calls a 1999 Ford E-350 Cargo van his full-time home, a vehicle that was ingeniously converted from a wheelchair-accessible van to a gorgeous rustic beach house on wheels!

I absolutely LOVE THIS VAN!! There’s nothing that I don’t love about his van. I just wish I could have seen more of how he did the placement and his water, appliances and how he hooked up his water system, etc.
A totally beautiful and functional van build. I love that it’s so personal and you can truly see the thought and careful planning that’s gone into his van.
When I saw the different daisies and flowers and the lamps hanging from the ceiling it made me cry. So beautiful.

This guy is so warm and genuine. He has one of the nicest most realistic home van that I’ve ever seen and didn’t have to spend a ton of money. It is possible to do a van build out on up cycled and recycled material. You don’t have to spend a mortgage to decorate your van. This van is very stylish and elegant. It’s definitely a beach vibe.
His details are so cottagey and cute, like he’s in a rolling garden house.
Retired engineer here. Zach's level of artistic expression is impressive. A level way beyond my comprehension.
Having a good chair, an oven, hot showers
& a comfortable bed wrapped in such cheerful, cozy decor is perfect. He's right that real plants wouldn't survive, but the ambiance is FABULOUS! 🎉

First of all, this is a "Feel Good Home." I've watched so many of Bob's videos, and the Tiny House explosion yadda yadda. I'm left with several thoughts, from "That's nice to oh no they didnt." Truly, and this is no BS, Zach's home makes me feel like I've been somewhere. What an incredibly creative eye Zach has. Thanks, gentlemen, you've made my day.

I never thought I could do Shabby Chic in a van! This is one of the BEST vans I have ever seen!!!!
There is something about Zach...a Geoorge Hamilton, kind of guy! Dresses snazzy, loves his Boho Beach vibe...the only thing missing...a little Chihuahua😊. I loved the old chair and all the little attachments to the door. The green roof gives an oasis type feel and, with small lights, in-between, must feel magical, at night. Don't knock fake plants and flowers. I use them myself. Getting the right ones, matters.

He has a true designer's heart! I have a minivan that I've turned into a campervan, but if I went full time, it would have to be pretty and cozy and feel like home. Great job.😊

Hey, nothing wrong with faux plants these days; they are quite realistic. I have a lot of them in my little trailer -- but then I saw the ivy & daisy ceiling inside Zach's van! Puts my little collection to shame LOL. Definitely adds to the vibe.
The only thing I missed was seeing a "sink" for dishwashing. I envision an old white enameled metal dishpan that he can place on the little tabletop. 🌿🌼🌿🌼🌿🌼🌿

So funny you say that, lol, the bees sometimes do wander a bit around me and the van. But, I don't harm them and they don't harm me, they're actually beautiful to watch (as long as it's not a swarm) eventually they fly off. 🙏

Bob got a lesson in decor and aesthetics for this one. 😂 I kept waiting for the functional info like sink, shower etc. But he was more focused on the nautical theme. 🤣

This van build is so amazingly beautiful and without spending a fortune to build it.
the style, aesthetics, and creativity are impressive. Don't normally associate a counterculture rebel with having flair. Being on the road, you can meet a lot of new people who just have first appearances to judge you by. Having put some thought into themes, decoration, and art communicates a positive message quickly.
Wow! Zach is so thought FULL is his approach to a beautiful making of a home! I thought that I'd exit this video, given my prioritizing of functionality, though. But, it just came across so genuinely as a real home , and without any gaudy fussiness, (or dust collection!) I could hear Bob's similar reaction. Bob you show why you've been able to create your wide spread appeal; you are multifaceted! Thanks so much for this one!

WOW is an understatement! Zach's van is so beautifully decorated, best I've ever seen.
I love this van. I too love color, texture, and greenery and strive to make my van like a home not a van. Being cozy and not just functional or industrial in decorating is important! People need to think outside the box (literally). The easiest way to do this is to use unexpected items that do one function and make them do something entirely different. I saw a quote years ago in Architectural Digest that suggested that the key to decorating is to own nothing that is not either useful or beautiful.
His creativeness makes me realise how easy it would be to step outside of the box with storage and decor! Great video
