Most underrated is a guy rarely mentioned week to week. Eric Wilson fits the bill. Played all 17 games, 38 solo/34 asst tackles, 7...yes, seven TFL's, 4 QB hits, ST stalwart. Each year, he's mainly an afterthought but is available game days and contributes.
Agree. Dude was ripping like 6 to 9 yards or more every time he had the ball. He was hungry. I believe if Josh wasn't able to go. We would of been alright because brooks looks good as well.
id say eric wilson falls in the over rated category. you leave out the 11 (13%) missed tackles. i heard ppl hyping him up all year long. yeah he was good in rotation and great STs guy but i kept hearing ppl say he should be playing over a guy i think should be the most underrated and thats quay walker.
I love that. So true. With Carlson & Narvdog it was like I can't miss this oppty to potentially see a train wreck. Human/football fan nature. My bladder health is grateful to McManus.
Most improved: Christian Watson. He’s not a no. 1 like we hoped. He has route running limitations, but the work he did to become an incredibly consistent deep threat is very overlooked. 2 drops on the year. Great YAC.
Rashan Gary for most disappointing. But of your 3 options, LVN. K9 underrated by Packers fans, he is a dog and held up well at outside corner. He's no CB1 but if you listen to the fans he's the worst DB in the league. Biggest reason for optimism...we're the GB f'n Packers, man. That might have been my favorite thing about McCarthy, "We're nobodies underdog".
Gary made the pro bowl so he will get defaulted out of worst even if it was underwhelming. But what about Kenny? He had what 1.5 sacks and was outplayed by Slaton all season I'd say that's deff most disappointing
Wasn't asked, but MVP? No question for me, Brian Gutekunst. Signed young FA's Jacobs and X, arguably not only the best player on each side of the ball but also team leaders as well. Drafted 3 starters in Cooper, Williams and Bullard. Traded a 7th and rec'd a 7th...in essence, traded Preston Smith for Malik Willis. Didn't get much or any production from Morgan, Lloyd, Hopper, Oladapo, Glover, Monk and King. So we have a redshirt 2024 draft class to add to the 2025 class. Oversaw getting cap space to $63M+.
Evan williams was most suprize for me. I hated pick and thought he wouldn't see the field, and he became a top safety in the whole league. That is the only right answer.
R. Walker and the whole OL. I already bracing myself for a whole off season of trying to replace Walker and or moving Zach Tom, and then drafting town tackle. Cause Love feels some pressure, Love and MLF and these receivers need to get on the same page and get open.
Where Wicks was taken in the draft, there is a reason for that. He has more things to work on and that's ok. He has higher expectations for himself than any Packer fan. I know everyone wants instant gratification and I'm sure Wicks is not different. But you have to put the work in and Wicks had more work to do than many of these guys.
Williams wasn't mentioned enough. It was apparent how much better the DB's played when he was in there. Not saying he should have won any of the categories, just in the discussion. GPG!
What better person to give it to than Josh Meyers. When Nate the trainer got up there and talked about the award and battled through adversity in life and personal things that might be going on, Josh Meyers obviously has dealt with that this year in his family. For him to be able to handle adversity, and be able to show up every day and be the Pro that he is and still put in the work and not let that affect his work life, has been huge. The amount of focus and preparation and just dialed in he has to be, with understanding what the defense is doing, understanding all the calls he’s got to make, it takes a lot, and I don’t think at that position you get a lot of recognition. He’s a pro and he’s been going about his business the right way. He’s the one making all the calls and making sure all those guys are always on point and know where they’re going. He is definitely a leader in that aspect. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛
I still think Musgrave is a DAWG! I would love to see him USED the RIGHT WAY. Bc for us to have a 6'6 speed demon with good hands and not use him is insane!!
Loves numbers on the season on drop back passes (no playaction) were abysmal. He clearly didn't progress. Kenny Clark and LVN played on a strong defense that got exposed for being on the field too much because of the passing game. If nobody is schemed open by LaFleur, bad things happened quite frequently. That's not recency bias from the last few games.
Still not in the camp of need to go out and find a WR1. I think you have to give the 2nd year guys a little pass. They went through their first off-season last year and didn't meet the expectations of development. Let's see what happens next year; it's part of the learning curve. There's a reason a sophomore slump exists. Watson's efficiency numbers were WR1 without the volume before the injury. I was hoping they would lean on him in the post season for a breakout a la Nelson in 2010.
Most disappointed with Jordan love. Not because he was the worst player, but because I really hoped to see more improvement. There was really no growth throughout the season. We payed him a lot to be a franchise qb and he hasn’t looked the part yet. Everyone loves to say he’s only in year 2, but it’s year 4 in the nfl and he still doesn’t have his fundamentals right. Hopefully 2025 is his breakout year!
Ahead of schedule? What schedule? Floundering your way into negative double-takes w/a whole lot of regression? Give me a break! This season was a huge under-whelming disappoint!

The little kid catching three punts in a row and celebrating with all the players afterwards at Family Night was a pretty special 2024 moment 🥰
LOVE THIS ONE!
lol you’re the mother
Play of the year: Tucker Kraft's 66-yard touchdown against the Rams 🔥🔥🔥
Rest easy Bob.
My nickname for McManus..."Bathroom Break Brandon". Unlike the 3 previous kickers, McManus made it ok to hit the head right after a TD.
...even on FG's.
I love that. So true. With Carlson & Narvdog it was like I can't miss this oppty to potentially see a train wreck. Human/football fan nature. My bladder health is grateful to McManus.
Good for you guys nailing the concerns! It’s the WRs and Love.
Most improved: Christian Watson. He’s not a no. 1 like we hoped. He has route running limitations, but the work he did to become an incredibly consistent deep threat is very overlooked. 2 drops on the year. Great YAC.
his first bears game this year was as good or a recover performance you'll see all year
Andy your analogy of the packers growing up the past two seasons was spot on 😂
Rashan Gary for most disappointing. But of your 3 options, LVN. K9 underrated by Packers fans, he is a dog and held up well at outside corner. Just watched the Gutey press conference. Is there even a point to talking with him? He speaks like I wrote essays in college, all fluff 😂
Come home 17!!!
I agree that the Love injury was the worst moment. I feel that injury affected Love's play all season. It set him back in his growth this past season.
Evan williams was most suprize for me. I hated pick and thought he wouldn't see the field, and he became a top safety in the whole league. That is the only right answer.

Yep, considering how open he is at times and drops the ball. I believe when his sophmore droppsie is over, he should be okay.
Our early kickers cost us wins. We need a Z style rusher. LVN and Gary both push the pile but have little bend for getting home on the QB.
I already got Davante back on Madden lol
Williams wasn't mentioned enough. It was apparent how much better the DB's played when he was in there. Not saying he should have won any of the categories, just in the discussion. GPG!
Hafley best add! Not close!
Rip Bob
Rasheed is definitely most underrated. 7th rd starting LT… Come on!
Nixon Underrated.
Most surprising rookie has to be Williams

Absolutely not

Inner turmoil amongst the offense

Sad to see Rashan Gary turn into JAG
Kenny Clark definitely most disappointing however not surprising.
Offensive rookie of the year? lol
Clark was double teamed almost 60% of the snaps..for him to eat all that and Gary not get home more..Gary is more disappointing
Kenny Clark was my vote as well unfortunately. Still a dude and he'll bounce back as well! GPG 💚 💛 RIP BOB 😢 💛💙
…no he won’t! He’s done.
@gregginter5867 we shall see.
Which Bob died?

Please stop with the young team excuse. Gute himself isn’t having it anymore.

Not a glass half full guy,huh? 🤣
