Thank you for the great review Steve, we have bumped up the lume on sapphire bezel already and yes this is the same watch that Jody reviewed a few months ago, it did quite the trip since!
It’s a beautiful watch. It’s definitely taking inspiration from a couple different watches, but certainly its own design. It’s just a hair too expensive though IMO. Thanks for the great review as always.
The case reminds me on the Erebus diver, the roundes bezel on the Fifty Fathoms. The bracelet may be fine, but im my opinion it looks a little boring. But all in all a nice watch. The price is a little high for what you get. Nice review, as always, thanks for that 👍👍👍
I'm struggling to find out why its priced over $600? Looks well built and has a Miyota 9000 series....but for over 600 it should at least have an ETA or Sellita, in my opinion. I really like the other 2 colors, especially the dark gray/dark bluish one. Very unique color.
You are absolutely right about the price being a bit high, but I think the Miyota 9 series is on par with Sellita Sw200.. Sapphire bezel insert is very expensive and it looks 👌🏻
@@AndreiGeorgescu-j9p lol they think naming a swiss movement it makes them watch experts and they obviously think swiss movements are better than Japanese movements.lol.its crazy .
This looks very similar to the Christopher Ward C65 Acquitaine and that’s got an SW200 in it. I think, if you’re considering this watch, the CW C65 is actually the better watch and in the ballpark price wise.
Very different vibe to me. More modern compared to the retro vibes of Lorier watches. I’m a Lorier fan but they do (successfully) homage older designs themselves.
It’s a 50 fathoms homage / with a touch of omega. Lorier also borrow from various designs. I like both but this has the added bonus of boxed sapphire, sapphire bezel and anti scratch coating.
Also please find me a watch with a bubble sapphire insert, an on the fly clasp, and scratch resistant case and bracelet. I haven't heard of one that isn't luxury

This does look really good... But that bracelet does seem like a real hair puller though. Nice review mate.
looks a lot like the Lorier Neptune's, which is not at all a hair puller, very comfortable...
Great video as usual. The other colours were kickstarter exclusive. I went for green bezel with aged lume for mine!
Ah makes sense. Those gilt ones looked awesome
I love that it has the hardened/ scratch resistant metal. Been wanting this just not a fan of the bracelet

My beard and pipe approve of your review 👍🏻

Sapphire insert and what is wrong with the miyota
Also what is this obsession with movements. It's so weird
The hardness coating adds to the price.

Really great looking watch. I get 50 fathoms vibes. The dude on the back is a bit odd. 😅
👌🔥
Comparable to the RLG ODYSSEA BUT NOT AS ATTRACTIVE.RLG have reworked their initial design to perfection.
They do look nice, but like you said, not as nice as this...they look a little boring to me TBH. Nice watches Im sure.

"In the ballpark" is kind of a stretch considering the Acquitaine is about twice as expensive.
It looks like a Lorier homage. I'd better pick the original.
So true. Imagine paying $620 for a homage watch 😂.
@@garylangford6755 it really depends on how much costs the original..

It quite literally has the exact same bracelet as my Neptune.
It's OK but they are delusional if they think it's worth 600. There is so much competition and it is nothing special.
It sold out on the first and second runs right away so they're not the delusional ones

Like what this seems legit
