YZ250 2 Stroke Trail Ride | Alexis Fights Her Way Up The Hills

- After ripping on Clay's brand new CRF450RX, my buddy Zach let me ride his freshly rebuilt YZ250 two stroke. With an added flywheel weight that thing floated through the trails effortlessly and with the nimble, lightweight chassis it was a blast throwing it around.
Hopping back on the CRF250L we head into the woods for some more fun while Alexis battles her way up some hill climbs on her bone stock CRF230L.

Her poor tires were shitty. Just slipping and sliding everywhere. Everyone else was sliding a little bit hooking up but Alexis was just sliding and no hook up at all. Made it hard for her I’m sure. But she hung in there.
I love when she takes deep breathes and says “come on lex” haha I totally fill that I have to cheer myself on often to motivate myself. Dope video.

I’ve always hated the mud, here in Ky it’s terrible and cakes to the bike. I much prefer the dry.
I had a 94,98,00,01 and now 13, something about the 01 had a awesome hit and great all around. Haven’t really got to ride my 13 yet due to knee injury.

Incredible job Lex! Try leave that clutch alone and try to remember traction and momentum are key when riding on mud. You are gonna notice a night and day difference with new tyres. 👍

Where you guys ride? I just bought my kids some bike and 4 wheelers we live in Delaware ohio and have some land near zainsville. Cool vid looking at a kx250 but not 100 on trail riding it

The “moss solution” is excellent but no-one mentioned taking a stick, digging a hole, crapping in said hole, utilising moss, dropping that in the hole then backfilling hole and Voila! No one would ever know you’d been there and you’ve actually improved the fertility of the soil. Win,Win.

Ive got a 250 like yours. Whats your set up. Ive got a bazzaz fuel controller and ive got it geared down, i went with a little bigger sprocket and smaller front. But its a 2014 and think it has the limites slip clutch or something? I like wheelies and i cant really wheelie this thing

All depends on how you ride but 100 hours is a common interval.

Would this bike work well for someone trail riding climbing hills ? I’m 22yr old 212lb 5’7 and I bought a 2021 kx100 and made a mistake lol…. Stuck between the 250 2stroke and the yz250F … I’m leaning a bit more twaord the 2 stroke for trail riding the 250f doesn’t seem to have that power for hills
Go for th 250 two stroke. Just the fun factor alone make it worth it

I wrecked my Kawasaki a little bit worse than that cause it doesn’t shift correctly u have to use you hand to shift and it only goes in first gear it won’t shift into other gears but hope he or she is good
