Was in the middle of building this bird a long time ago but life got into the way. Gave my stuff to my brother cause he was starting to build but quit. After he passed away from drugs,he had given it away to someone who loved building. Got back most of my modeling equipment and paints which he had in the closet at the time. Which I still had that plane. Put a lot of work into it,lowering flaps and adding piston for the speed brake. Also for me coffee is the breakfast of champions...to many years of driving otr...😊😊😊😊😊
@fuzzysghostmodels9840 still building when I get a chance. Been building for a long time. My dad got me started when I was 5 and have enjoyed very much. I think a lot of parents ought to get there kids into modeling or some kind of hobby instead of video games. They could learn a lot in life with this skill. Today most of my building is done in a rv until me and the misses get a place...boy I miss my airbrush,it's in storage for a time.....
@@richardjordan5036 Good to hear you are building despite being in an RV. Hopefully you'll be able to airbrush soon. I agree that it is a great hobby that more young people could benefit from. It teaches patience, hand eye coordination, imagination and a bit of history.
I love going to Toronto to look for the old Monogram kis that I grew up with in my youth. I get more enjoyment out of building them. I swear most of my stash is Monogram .

So sorry about your brother. 🫂 I'm glad that this kit can evoke memories, good and bad for you. Are you still building? ☕️

The main thing it teaches kids is problem solving which is key in working in most fields like engineering which we need a lot of in this country.

They do bring back memories for sure!
Awesome, the F-8 is such a killer design!
Agreed!!
Hasegawa also have an annoying habit of not including any weapons/ordinance with their kits: have to buy that separately.
That is an extremely annoying feature of Hasegawa!
