Awesome work!! Looks a nice kit too.
It is an awesome kit of course
The decals showing Bu No 145558 of VF-84 are in my opinion incorrect for a F-8E model, instead for a F-8C.Correct me,if false.
You are correct ;)
Hi, i follow your work for a long time and i would like to ask you what type of nozzle your aerograph uses? 0,15?
Nice work
Thank you for thr support.I use 0.2mm nozzle on all of my ab.
Congrats, Doctor. What is exactly this "flat white"? Greetings from Brasil.
Thank you :) I cant remmeber maybe mr.surfacer 1500 white ? :D
Amazing work! where did you get the decals?
In my spares box :D
You made one mistake. Inboard stations on MER's wasnt used.
Thanks.Noy just that one though :D
Which glue do you use for clear parts?
Superglue ;)
beautiful build on an excellent plane.
Thank you :)
The base b&W tone was so useless when covered with white...😆
It isnt when you see it in person.
Impressive build, but totally inappropriate paint job. I wish people that are showing off their skill to show every panel line on an airplane would actually look at some pictures, taken in period, of the plane they are modeling. The U.S. Navy kept their planes as clean as possible, even during intense flight operations during Vietnam. The planes were painted with gloss, not flat paint, because that was easier to keep clean. They were washed down with fresh water whenever possible, if the ships evaporators could make it fast enough. If you look at the Vietnam cruise book pictures a Crusader has no obvious panel line coloration except around the panels over and around the 20mm canon. The nose is sooty from the plane in front of it as it waits for its cat shot and the tail has some soot, for obvious reasons, but otherwise they are clean. If you want to build a filthy Crusader, find some pictures of Marine F-8's that were doing close air support for the Marines during Tet.
Thank you verry much :) I think that not always all of those navy f-8s were glossy and clean as seen on the photo below
