Can you do that effect over metal flake?

It is possible but you would have to use a very fine transparent metallic silver over the flake because flake isn't solvent based. Candies are better going over flake. I'll be doing more custom stuff with mutant crystals on the channel so stay tuned

Can you tell me the difference between DNA's Diamond Clear and the Custom Clear? I have bought diamond Clear for a custom COB and candy combination and wondering if the Custom Clear is a better choice.

Diamond is a HS clear, custom is a MS clear . Diamond has a thicker viscosity than custom and is suitable for any type of painting . Custom is a high flowing clear suitable for anything also . However commonly used to flow coating a job . DNA has a lot of customers using custom clear for general purposes. It’s down to preference at the end of the day .
Me personally , if I’m doing lots of tape outs or metal flake jobs bigger than 100micron I’ll use diamond or if I plan to wet sand the clear and polish then diamond is suitable. If I’m doing a basic respray or painting something and I wanna leave it off the gun I’ll use custom .

I also see no difference in gloss if you compare the diamond to the custom . They have basically the same gloss

I'm asking you if epoxy crystal can be used instead of mutant crystal, is it the same, because in my country where I live I do not find mutant cristal with this the name, while Epoxy crystal yes I can find.

@@artongashi6206 sorry ive never used another type or brand of crystals before . i actually work for the company who makes it . ive never heard anyone say anything about a epoxy in the product

Apparently epoxy crystals is solvent based where mutant crystals is water based . Which means epoxy crystals you will not be able to wash off with water and try it again if the crystals which form are tiny . Sounds like DNA paints mutant crystalz are much better to use
