The most under rated channel on RUclips is this one. Two genuinely good people living their best lives and letting us join along. Most post unrealistic videos about how good everything is, Steph and Travis post real life, real problems, real successes..........and failures. Thanks again for letting us be a part of that. 😊 Steph mentioned the polishing system for the diesel, Id be interested one day to see what that looks like, is it a Racor system or something different? I love that technical stuff +1 for Travis builds videos hahah
Just recently found your channel, and watched your most recent new boat videos , loved them so much am going back to the beginning to binge watch your sailing story so far. Have just got to the Painted Toe Nails video, and nearly pissed myself laughing , also 2 days until nail polish remover, EPIC, just f**king EPIC, you guys are the best. Ok of to watch more, bye xxx
Im really happy to see everything going so well for this channel ....and can't hardly wait to see what comes next ... best wishes and ................. Cheers.
When I replaced my old packing seal with the dripless seal system that hose coming out of the graphite ring was supposed to be connected to the raw water system (I tee'd it off the water line going to the heat exchanger) as a way to cool the friction created between the graphite and stainless collar. Perhaps yours is different but that's what the instructions said for my powerboat. Congrats on your beautiful new rig! Really enjoy your vids!
OMG 😱, Steph and Travis. The haul-out went slick as hell‼️👍🏻 Glad you replaced the shaft seal. Always a good idea. Looking forward to what’s coming. See you next time. ✨🌊💨⛵️🏝️👙🌞✨
I really like your new boat a lot and love the exposed aluminum look. I'm also about ready to get an aluminum boat and will for sure go with that exposed oxide layer look. Why didn't you do bottom paint why you were out of the water? Your solar hardtop looks really nice!
Very happy for both of you and your tremendous upgrade. I'm very happy for all that your new boat for you will do for your lives and even if I cant really understand how it happened I think those that deserve get things to go their way at some time later. I guess now is later congrats, Love the Boat.
Yeah, that's a ready-made slogan for a yacht sales campaign, lol. "Big decks - you never know how much fun it is until you upgrade your "little deck" to a big one”.
Great boat. We got very close to buying the sister ship in Bainbridge many years ago. It is a very strong boat and after making it your own should keep you safe for many years. On Cygnus we have the Canadian built Aldura aluminum dinghy. Will be curious to see if you have the same. Tried to contact the yard but no answer.
What is the actual make and model of this sailboat? Is it an original Garcia type sailboat like the one used in "Alluring Arctic Sailing" on youtube? I can't place it, but the hill looks really well made and actually looks as smooth as a fiberglass sailboat.
@@SailingJibsea Every time I put my boat in reverse everyone pulls out their phone for some reason... Your new boat looks really nice! Looking forward to seeing some sailing!
Sailboats should come with helmets. I bought and live on my own S211.0A a few years ago and have never hit my head so much as i have on this boat and just last night i swam into the stern ladder and have a big cut on my head now. Doh!
I must have said to myself “that’s what she said” 100 times this video. Who knew boat maintenance could be so funny. Should have been a drinking game but I wouldn’t know what month it was anymore.
Being a power boater I always laugh at how small the boat’s prop is on such a big sail boat and with a 6 and 1/2 foot draft I am guessing you guys are planning some serious ocean wandering. Have you guys calculated what your boat’s hull speed is yet? Looking forward to watching your travels. But I also really hope you guys do a lot of boat repair videos.
Did you guys officially change the name of the boat with ceremonial alcohol toasts to Poseidon? The procedure is well documented prior to exposing the new name of the vessel.
Just a quick question: noticed on a past Vid that you switched the heads from fresh water to salt water… I’m assuming your holding tank is plastic and not aluminum, right?
You were only able to compress the bellows 18mm? You’ve lost some size and strength, I remember back when you guys first started, Travis was much bigger, 20mm would have been a breeze. 💪🏋️♀️
Def lost 20-25lbs of pure muscle since then! 🫠The silicone is much more difficult to compress than rubber and the awkward positioning doesn’t make it any easier
@@randerson4383 Always measure your height in centimeters as there are more of them. Always measure your waist in inches as there are less of them.....
Wow. So you bought a boat without having it hauled out first. That was brave. Glad it all worked out.

Great Job guys. And its good to see you letting the birds roost a while longer.
This looks like a beautiful boat, almost ready to take to off on your new adventures.😊
Absolutely priceless! screen shot!
Tremendously stoked for you guys! Congratulations
The new boat is looking great ! I hope she sails as good as she’s built.
the dock itch is getting real!
Love the new boat, looks like a great boat to sail up north.
That’s the plan!
It's always great to get the boat out of the water and have a good look at it. Great job on the packing seal change, Trav!!

You guys are amazing!!! Keep smashing it ❤ hopefully bump into you somewhere in the world!
Beautiful boat 🎉
That is an amazing boat! Love love love it!
Looks like a lovely cruising boat nice lines and setup.
Fun to watch repairs. This boat will be so tip top, super clean like you two like everything soon. I like that!
Round bilged aluminum so well done you couldn’t tell it’s not fiberglass if it was painted. Kudos to the builders, they knew how to bend those plates!
She certainly looks fast below the water with a deep forefoot should track to windward very well. Great to see Travis welding aluminum!

@@SailingJibseaYou got had. The prior boat owner lied about everything to you guys now you're stuck repairing all his lies. Sorry

Groovy episode. Travis you are a pretty talented dude. Learn on the fly, and learn it well.

Travis reminds me of Randy from Trailer Park Boys. They both never have a shirt on :-)
That is a really nice boat, great job.
Tonight about you guys when I was on Lake Michigan on the heel yesterday…. 😊 Glad you got the goods on the prop shaft seal. Stay safe!
"Big decks." So funny, Mr. T.

I think you’re in the same marina as Onboard Lifestyle.
Glad the little bird is going to be alright.

Thanks for sharing, always interesting to see these things. Just out of curiosity, I wonder how much it costs to get a boat lifted out.
I have to admit I'm a little bit jelly of your backing skills!
I hold my breath every time but he does it well! Just had to get used to how she handles in reverse

I doubt I'll ever own a boat like that. If I ever did steal or aluminum for the hull. Hands down.
Are you guys planning to repaint the hull?

Last video I watched where they said "shaft" that often, let's just say it was on a different platform!

Ceremony to be done prior to removing old name and official renaming!
At 7.35 it looks like the front strap is ripped and ready to break. Could be the way the camera is making it look.

Right
Why didn't you paint it while out of the water? Looks grungy as it is in the videos.
Does the boat have a bolted steel keel, or is all integrated aluminum?
Fully integrated aluminum keel
