  • We tested the FIVE-OH snowskate from Hovland Snowskates,
the FIVE-OH is ready to shred the park, assembly of the FIVE-OH was straight forward and only took about 20 minutes (it ships assembled so you won't have to worry about that, but it's good to know if you're changing out the subdeck or topdeck). Shawn from Old Guys Rip Too breaks down the full review of the Hovland FIVE-OH.
The Five-Oh is geared toward a park or backyard snowskate enthusiast. The FIVE-OH snowskate truly has a skateboard style feel to it and will work well for that type of rider, try out the Hovland FIVE-OH!

im having the hardest time with frontside stops or powerslides. I cant do one without completely turning around. backside i can do it no problem. Like my shoulders feel tangled its weird any tips?

They can be hard to master, for me I have to focus on keeping the lead shoulder from starting to go uphill, by keeping my shoulders perpendicular to the fall line. Try keeping your hands close to your knees look down hill, and keeping equal pressure on both heels.

@@oldguysriptoo I tried a different snowskate with a skinnier and longer ski. Way easier! Probably had the best time of my life it was great

Great choice, it’s great for the backyard or in the park. The small size top deck is for U.S. shoe size 9 or smaller. The large deck is for U.S. shoe size 9 or larger
