it’s a natural progression of my interests, but great to see that tech is everywhere in our lives haha. When I started RUclips at age 13 I was just into iPods/iPhones at the time.
although I started watching your content for the tech gadgets, these home/place tours are on a different level. would like to stay in a place like this in the future
These series are better then anything you ever did! I'm not sure how economically sustainable it will be but you keep doing these forever and seeing how your design skill improves with each project. Cheers.
Using this video as a guide to make my office just like an actual office. I usually use Ikea products but they just announced a price hike up to 9% globally for 2022. You know it's serious when a company that prioritises low prices for consumers had to increase it.
Congratulations! Loving the end results of this renovation. Looking forward to seeing the media console wall in the living room. Bit controversial but will be interesting to see how it looks when installed. Happy New Year!
will definitely do a 1 year later update on AirBNB performance breakdown, property appreciation, re-appraisal etc. Generally speaking on a property that isn’t my primary. 10-15% of what I paid + how much below I got it under assessment price is what I try to stay within. But as a RUclips channel and doing the series, we do get provided with some products that do encourage a mid-high end approach, so that is a large factor. Always ways to do it cheaper for sure, always variables such as supply issues etc, but all a fun experience to document and hopefully a good investment.
Very brave of you to put such a nice unit like that on Airbnb! At a previous job I managed several Airbnb properties and some of the guests were...not great.
I like the condo, however, I would replace the w/d with the LG Wash Tower it maybe a little smaller. Also why not mount the television on the wall where the current television is standing. You may have to get a smaller TV.. Overall, nice place.
It must definitely be a student apartment because it is not functional for a family. I would have occupied the washing machine in the main room in the closet area instead of the secondary room. Not having doors in the closets is not a good idea either, especially when there are too many clothes and you want to hide them so that the mess is not seen. The size of the washing machine does not help either, especially today that there are washing machines of all sizes, colors and brands, they could choose one that did not take up so much space and, like the closet, could be hidden. I guess those details are what make these renovation video series all the more interesting. I can't wait to see that project finished, especially the living room part. I wish all the rooms had those wonderful automatic curtains.
Because it was built to AirBNB, I kept it closet doorless(can always be added one). One less thing to break, and guests can be organized without accidentally forgetting something in the closet. I did what to move washer dryer elsewhere. But the water line and ducting was right there, so there wasn’t many options if it was to stay ducted.
I thought about moving my laundry machine and drier to my bedroom to make my kitchen look better. Then I realized that no one would be able to do laundry if my partner or I were napping or sleeping. Glad I saw your video Justin! 😂
This is super cool!! However I can't help but be slightly annoyed at these kinds of videos since the Victoria real estate market is already so hard to get into as a first-time buyer. Luxe Airbnb properties definitely don't help this problem :(
He can't do it because the washer and dryer were located were the new fridge is, you can watch the video again in that part where he explains why. Please pay attention!!
The washer and dryer in that second bedroom would be slightly annoying, and would hope roomies have common sense enough not to be running those at night.
The electric shades was what you didn’t wanna spend your money on for your tenants? You could save money by simply not buying $2K worth of TVs. No one needs TVS that nice, most will be just fine with 1080 TVs for free with the apartment. Also, they don’t need TVS at all most people already have TVS to bring into their home. There are plenty of things you could cut costs on if you wanna save money. All this stuff you put in is cool and definitely a dream to have for yourself, but with what you’re doing here. It’s slight overkill. What are you charging for the rent there anyway?
Visit helixsleep.com/justin to get up to $200 off your Helix mattress, plus two free pillows.
This channel has gone from tech reviews to home innovation and I'm not even complaining

I love that you love how the place came out. It’s very well done.
I wouldn’t mind a washer/dryer basically in my closet lol. Maybe just a little curtain lol.
I love the design!!! Amazing Job Justin, where did you find those baseboard heater? Way nicer than what I see at Home Depot or Lowes.
I’ll be sad when this series is over! I just bought a new build in Vic West and this is straight up useful and inspiring content.
The next series will be WAY BIGGER!
Just by looking at this tell you how much time and effort was placed into bringing it out. And it turned out🤯🤯🤯. Very motivating tooo
Hey!! I love the shade of green on your accent wall. Can you share the name please?
Love your rénovation series! Really helpful for my own remodeling. Would love to see the budget breakdown too!

Great property Justin, looks better every episode and its clean modern but functional
Odd style choice to have the washer dryer exposed. Especially in a bedroom.
this is the reason why i love this guy

Love these home series. What color is the olive wall?
@Jusintse did you lose a frame at 15.18? its just black screen
Hey Justin what paint colour did you use in the condo ? Sorry if you answered this already ! Love the videos
Is the bedroom wall color dark olive by Benjamin Moore? Thx!
Yes
dude - this is insane!! well done dude - gotta ask too, where are the room lights from that are next to the TV?
I'd be curious to hear the costs of the whole remodel and the return with however much you are renting it out for

Thank you!
@@JustinTse hey buddie, can I have the link for the couch please....by the way it's just so lovely looking
I love this serie thanks a lot man
This is unbelievable! Keep it up bro
I love these kind of videos of yours
What’s the brand of this baseboard heaters ? Thx
Wow so beautiful
Curious as to why you didn’t go for a more compact 2 in 1 washer and dryer?
between Airbnb guests on tight turnarounds, the 2 in 1’s are too slow to wash/dry bedding.
From where is the bedroom furniture?
is there anyway you can give us a spreadsheet for how much everything costed?
Ya I might do a vid
@@JustinTse the goat replies 🐐that would be dope for people like me haha
Darker bedroom wall color?
Ya boy making moves before 2021 ends
Double sided 2000 or more pocket sprung mattresses are the best.
Which bed rove concept are those?
song of the first seconds of the video?
So dope!!! Love it

Looking at wash tower for my next one but am skeptical haha. If one breaks the other is useless too
Whats on the wall as a color?
Is it white or a Rall Number?

What brand and model are the baseboard heaters?
Just some decent Home Depot ones I think. $100 a pop
Wow so you just bought a slot of my somfy stuff.

You have great taste !!!!!
Put a nice curtain over the washer and dryer
Dont do white walls but more beige, it will elevate everything trust me ( you ll start noticing its like that in every magazine) ;)
I personally think that the living room sofa is too small for the space... 🤔 but of course the rest is looking awesome mate!
Oh wow could i get the tv😉
It’s 😎 pretty cool
the TV cord is well hid. i totally cant see it at all
Pls remove the washer and dryer from the bedroom it’s horrible.not worth it.take it back to the kitchen
Otherwise you did a good job with everything

Washer and dryer in the guest room is absolutely TERRIBLE! What a waste of a great home design
far too nice for an air B&B rental.....

You're the reason why it's so hard for normal people to find affordable places to live/rent. Stop encouraging short-term rentals.
