I actually didn't know you could Parry his Hammer attack. I could have added to my no damage run 😁. I used to be a Parry God at this game, but then I stopped playing for over the year because it took a long time for the DLC to come out. Now I only remember how to Parry things in this DLC like this boss
Be airborne around an enemy > Limit break > Jump cancel > Downthrust. U can use the limit break jc tech to skip the animation altogether as well. Hope that helps
@@trollaseum6174 dude this is amazing! just tried it and I can't stop using it LMAO what do you think would be the most stylish set of eikons to use? wanna do a full replay focusing on styling LOL
@@barabaz3359 it's fun aye. Addicting as well to pull off. The main set is phoenix, odin and ultima. Good for combos in general, movement and if u want damage there's odin for that as well. If u want a general view of what a fun playstyle would look like with those 3, search up youtuber selch lightwarden. I got a lot of ideas watching their clips. Other eikons are pretty fun to mess around with as well like shiva and bahamut
melee mechanics in this game are primarily to fill your limit break gauge (think devil trigger if you've ever played devil may cry), and deplete the enemy's stagger gauge. things like parry help you do both quicker. It's still a final fantasy so the meat of the offense is still in waiting for the magic gauges to fill, using the magic and then rinse and repeat.
You're all wrong lol It only does low damage because that particular long sword that he's using fills up a separate meter that allows him to release it as an ultimate attack. It's supposed to do the most minimal damage possible so that when you release it it does a crap ton of damage.
Timekeeper got time kept. After the second parry I could hear him blowing into the Mic with rage. 😂 sick inputs. Love the rising tide DLC.
another lit gameplay. parrying in this game is indeed very hard due to it having a short windows.
Zantetsuken into rift slip is just nasty. Nice work
very nice man. they need to add that area as practice zone
🔥🔥🔥
this is insane

How are you doing that down thrust with limit break? I can't seem to camcel the animation from limit break

@@barabaz3359 thanks, I don't upload much or at all tbh but thank u 🙏
Does he have the imperial infantry blade or something? How are you doing this little damage?
What music is that

yeeeeah... all of that is very cool, but... you took 1cm from his life bar
never played this, just here by the algorithm, and thought it was funny
I can tell you haven't played, the low damage is intentional

All the damage is done when the stagger happens.
Although I agree with your point.
@@SupaTuffGongso you’re saying it all depends on the limit break and parries to get you to stagger?
