- Chapter 5: In order to know where you are going, you have to know where you’ve been.
From the bike that started it all - the RTS, to today’s LTS lineup, GT’s full suspension development story has been a wild ride with plenty of ups and downs. Our technology has evolved over the years, but this hasn't - our passion for making bikes that are fun to ride, and sharing our stoke for two wheels! Thank you to everyone who has been involved in making GT what it is today. From the engineers to the riders, and of course, the fans!

Been riding GT since 87. Will ride GT for life!
This brand really took me to places and experienced things I only can imagine.. but now, just can't afford one.. still, GT will stay stamped in my soul!
Thank you guys!!!
Currently rebuilding a Sanction and Rukus that a dear friend owned before he passed, kinda a tribute to him and to have a couple fun bikes to ride😀
Sounds like a wonderful way to honor your friend. Glad to hear the bikes are still running.
Quinner sighting at 4:12! A-Gwin at his best. Love seeing Brian Lopes in these too. Thought they'd go over the new DH bike with the high pivot and idler. Bummer.
Was on my Zaskar Carbon last night, 9.7kg no trick bits, it's sweet.
My first real mountain bike was a 2000 GT XCR3000. I still own that bike. It means so much to me. I still ride it regularly despite owning a modern 2018 mountain bike. It hasn't disappointed me yet. I got several friends into mountain biking recently and steered them right towards GT. Husband and wife friends wound up both buying GT's, then his parents did the same! Now I'm building a 1999 red XCR4000 for my daughter. She's in love with it and looking forward to the finished product. I'm certain my next new bike will be GT, as I've been so happy with the brand and all it stands for.
That's rad! Thanks for all the support! ❤️
Nice series, keep them coming ! The world must know why GT is the stakeholder
I love this ! I'm in my 50's and worked in a GT shop in the 90's. I have a old purple swirl GT Karakoram with matching GT butt stem and a dx u brake, a 1998 Avalanche Le the only year they were 6061 and full XT except for the rear hub and a 1999 black Zaskar full XTR but the CODA crank .
My 2010 Force is still going strong. Thanks for the video series. I learned a lot and felt that story!
Thanks for checking it out! What was your favorite episode?
I grew up in Southern California riding GTs. With my mach1 and GT performer. Now im 48 and still ride my 3 GTs 2017 sensor, 2019 aggressor and my beautiful 21 Force!

My first GT, a 1992 Avalanche 1.0 is still in my garage today! Always a fan, I really loved this series...It showed not just the progression of the bicycles, but the passion as well!

I have been saved by my GT aggressor comp 2016 bike many times on trails I fallen off it once and it didn’t even hurt me as it was so light it is very awesome I recommend this bike
When I was 10 years old I bought a GT decals and put it on any bike, now I'm 33 and I love my 2016 gt Force 😄
GT IS PART OF MY LIFE SINCE 1993 THANKS GT !!!!
GT=LEGEND
I had an I-drive 4.0, a Sanction, a Sensor 27.5, a Sensor 29er and now my daughter rides a GT Stomper. I haven't felt any other suspension systems that would carry pedaling momentum over rocks than my blue 2007 I-drive 4.0.
