Using Tyflow and 3ds Max to reveal a building in Nvidia Omniverse Create - Tutorial

  • In this 3ds Max tutorial we reveal a high rise construction building site using 3ds Max, TyFlow, and Nvidia Omniverse Create. For the realtime architectural visualization of a downtown city demo - first I'll show you how to model the 3D high rise building, and then I'll show you how to bring it into TyFlow and add the objects as particles for revealing/building on the structure with a fracture rigid bodies reveal effect. The start point and ripple effect vfx are adjustable and you could even reverse this effect if you want to create TyFlow Destruction effects. Finally we export to each TyFlow scene to an FBX and convert to USD for rendering it in realtime in Nvidia Omniverse Create. Finally I'll be using Unreal Engine to add to our architectural visualization example and leverage the huge library of 3d models and assets that are available in the marketplace and Quixel Bridge. If you're interested in realtime rendering and filmmaking, I definitely recommend checking out Nvidia Omniverse Create!

    However, I don't know how to scale the object from zero to its orignal size, could you mind telling me how to do it?

    Thanks! Why you didn't make this in UE? Omniverse has better quality of render or maybe motion graphics better works? You have scene in UE and I'm wondering why you export this in another realtime app. Thanks again!

      No particular reason, I'm always experimenting with new tools and wanted to see what Omniverse create could do. I love Unreal Engine as well, but they both excel in different ways. Omniverse feels a little more intuitive to me since it feels more dedicated to film/animation, vs. Unreal which is a game engine first that also has film feature abilities - if that makes sense. Both can produce amazing quality renders though.

    Hi. Does Unreal Engine5 can do like this ? I mean I don’t use Omniverse and I want to render the animation in UE5

    honestly never heard of Omniverse C. How does it actually differ from UE? Is UV stored in fbx. Thank you, awesome tuts btw, subscribed

      Thanks, I'm fairly new at it still and I've only scratched the surface, but it's a very similar workflow to UE, Omniverse also has a sequencer window like in Unreal engine, and you can also live link and record takes the same way. They have connector apps for 3ds Max, Maya, Unreal Engine - where you can single export into the USD file format that transfers all of your UV's/materials - or you can import an fbx or alembic file from any software. Hope that helps!

    • @edstudios
      @edstudios  2 года назад

      Also yes, fbx will bring in your UV's - and you can recreate your materials in Omniverse Create

    I am studying law in Germany and nothing with tech. I am just interested in Omnivores because I hold Nvidia stocks but it looks soooooooooooo difficult to me. It looks so unbelievable. How do you guys create such things? I just don't get it
    it seems so unreal. It seems more difficult than building rockets for me.
    Respect for you work!
    Do you pay money for Omniverse?
