Creating a Stitch Effect in 3ds Max
In this tutorial, the speaker demonstrates how to create a stitch effect in 3ds Max by animating a shape and fabric pattern.
    Importing Shape for Stitches
    00:16
The process begins with importing a shape (in this case, a logo) for creating stitches.
    00:41
After importing the shape, adjustments are made to ensure it is suitable for creating stitches.
    Creating Stitch Shapes
    01:10
Stitch shapes are created using rectangles and adaptive interpolation to achieve the desired look.
    01:38
Further modifications are made to refine the stitch shapes, including adjusting vertices and scaling.
    Cloning Stitches
    02:41
Instead of traditional cloning methods, the Clone modifier is utilized for better control over spacing between stitch elements.
    03:10
The Clone modifier allows easy adjustment of clone numbers and displacements for precise placement of stitches.
    Deforming Stitches
    04:02
Stitches are deformed to conform to the logo shape using the Path Deform modifier.
    04:30
Fine-tuning parameters like axis orientation and scale ensures stitches align correctly with the logo shape.
    06:06
    Animating Stitch Effect
This part focuses on animating the stitch effect created earlier in 3ds Max.
    Setting Up Animation
    06:06
The animation process involves adding modifiers like Slice to animate the stitching along a path.
    06:33
Keyframes are set to animate the movement of a gizmo that controls the stitching animation.
    Hope you enjoyed it.

If you press and hold the part to the right of the "Set Key" below and select the "Linear" option, you do not need to go to "Trackview".
