I would be fascinated to see the metrics of views when a title has the word "woke" in it vs ones that don't. I think it's been pretty well established that outrage, faux or otherwise, tends to drive clicks. That's depressing, because greed will end up destroying us, assuming it hasn't already.

    1. X-Men have always been the definition of woke
    2. Rogue was only caked up for 2 seconds of the original series. If you watch that episode or any episode, she isn't that thick. Jean is regularly depicted as thicker than Rogue throughout the show.

They do it to influence opinion. Trump did this while in office by saying if he didn't win, the election was rigged, and then used any opportunity to make real events fit that pre-established narrative. It's the challenge of dealing with people who are sociopathic and don't mind lying and manipulating, or are too dumb and socially conditioned to realize they are. Or they feel it's justified because this is a "culture war," that they see as a genuine threat, instead of the root causes (capitalism; heirarchy). Notice how the anti-woke people don't use the big C word (capitalism), only little c (corporations), because then it's a matter of replacing the leadership with people like them, and all is well again, even if that's not actually true. It's about hierarchy and control.

I also find it odd that no one complaining about Rogue’s butt in those two specific shots brings up how different the shots are. The original features her laying on the ground with it pointing right at the camera, but in ‘97, she’s in a group shot with the rest of the team standing far away from the camera surrounded by debris. Of course the animators are going to draw her differently from different distances and angles, that’s how animation typically works!

2:42 Woah. I've seen that TR comparison image before, but... The one on the right isn't even from a game. It looks to be a fan made model. And there is actually a video comparing Lara from each game side by side, and her boobs are actually about the same size each game, with the exception of Anniversary, where they grow three sizes like the Grinch's heart did (not literally, I have no idea how much bigger they were). But Tomb Raider 2013 and Rise of the Tomb Raider both had similar breast sizes as the classic PlayStation TR games and of Underworld and Legend. Shadow shows Lara wearing (what I assume) is a sports bra under a tactical vest, both of which compress her breasts in the game just as they do in real life. So her breasts are actually fairly consistent across the series (not counting Anniversary, that game is extremely unrealistic). Of course, the marketing campaigns of the old games didn't help the general public's perception of the character, as they greatly exaggerated Lara's proportions compared to the games, but whatever.
