Absolutely wonderful day of fishing. That is one of my favorite ways to trout fish is to float bait down a fall or falls. Letting the bait just flow down the fall is like throwing trout crack in the water. Congrats again.

That really is a monster trout. I've never seen a trout fight and pull drag like that. Usually trout a heavy slow fighters. I'd love to hook into a 10lb brown trout. I bet you guys got some monster walleye in there as well.

If you want more big trout you should go to tasmania or new Zealand. They have massive trout. Tasmania has the biggest brown trout I have seen. The largest in tasmania was 27lb!

Also great work on the LEGO video. I have a few tips with audio work. As a recent audio production grad the balancing of the sounds were off a bit. Loud in some places and quite in others. Certain sound effects were perfect such as the foley steps and weaponry. If you ever need any help with sound effects or sound editing feel free to hit the kid up.

The biggest trout I've ever caught was about a pound and a half. I though that was big. I would love to pull up a 5 pounder. I love habanero, that trout looked delicious. Good job.

Micah, Congrats on that HUGE TROUT! I am coming to the Snake river when all this virus crap is done that is for sure. I could tell that you were having problems with the kayak. It would probably be a little easier if it were set up to your size. That trout almost didn't fit in your net. You will have to get a bigger one if you keep getting fish like that.

Maybe young steelhead
Steelhead are sea run rainbows. judging by how far away from the ocean they are those steelhead would be skinny and colored up. Those are just FAT rainbows. The meat is red because the water is cold and they eat good natural food, instead of the dog food type stuff they get fed in a hatchery. It looks delicious !
Nope there aren’t any steelhead in the snake above Hell’s Canyon Dam. They run the length of the Salmon and Clearwater though. I caught a 4 lbs out of American Falls that was as red as those. It all depends on what they are feeding on. Idaho has some amazingly tasting trout.

Nice catch. Just a tip though, sear the fish on both sides and finish with the sauce literally in the last 30 seconds... also, when it comes to sauce on fish, less is more. Tight lines!

Tips, when using bottle sauce, you should add the sauce first onto the pan first so it reduce the sauce and bring the flavor of the sauce to kinda of thick consistency and then add on your trout fil-A.
