One way would be to crochet a normal granny square, then attach the sunflower onto the granny square. That's the simplest way I can think of because I've tried to make a square by crocheting around the circle of the sunflower and it's generally more work and doesn't look much better. Let me know how your squares go!
Yay! I did this and it was a really helpful tutorial. I did mess up a bit, but that's just how it goes when you're new to something. It looks pretty good, though, even if I used white and purple instead of brown and yellow (is it perhaps a purple lily now?). Thanks so much!
I loved this pattern but I found it easier to do the inner round of petals first and then the outer. But I have arthritis so this was just easier for me xx
The best and prettiest Sunflower crochet pattern 🌻👍👍👏👏Your instructions are so good and they are easy to follow. Even I dont crochet much I found this pattern enjoyable and fun. I have always loved knitting since I was a young girl, I wanted to learn. My mum and grandma crocheted beautiful bedspreads and other things, I never saw them knitting. Thank you for posting this excellent tutorial 🙏😊🧶🌻
I wanted to add flowers to a piece I was going to present as a gift and googling brought this pattern up as first. I found it easy to understand and follow and easy to remember. Well done m'dear, glad I could be a part of your works.
I switched to using a single crochet stich instead of the chain 2 and slip stich on the smaller round of petals and it worked well, kept it much neater looking. But great pattern thanks for sharing your creativity 👍
Daisy, can you please do a tutorial for crocheting a round, like for a hat, and show how to join at the end without using a slipknot that leaves a seam. I am just beginning and am getting so confused. Your tutorials are the best!
Fabulous video, so easy to follow, your instructions are the best I have come across. I would love to make these into a blanket. Did you make the green blanket ?
My grandmother crocheted so many cool things but my favorites were always the ones with the flowers. I'm so glad you posted this! I think I'm almost ready to attempt a blanket, in which case, I plan on maaayyybe trying to incorporate some of these flowers. Your tutorials are amazing.
I dont know if you still use your channel, but I just wanted to say that the way you explain things is awesome. So easy to follow and quick! Please make more videos!
This is wonderful...it would be great to crochet a simple blanket and sew these adorable sunflowers all over . My sweetheart I don't know how you do all this and still ace your grades.OXOXO
I love your videos! I looked at lots of videos on how to crochet and yours was the best. I was wondering if you could make one on how to crochet a tube/ring?
+Tara G. Yeah I can try and work on that for you :) It may take a little while for me to make it because I'm working on a few other things, but I will get started on that for you
I am crocheting a blanket with the pattern called the Vintage Wobble Afghan with a dark forest green color. It's from a website called Moogly and I really like it! Instead of doing a blanket with plain rows of double crochet this has a very interesting twist on normal double crochet. To be completely honest, I haven't finished it yet as I haven't had a lot of time. But I plan to sew the sunflowers in various places around the blanket. Here is the link to the website if you'd like to check it out! www.mooglyblog.com/vintage-wobble-afghan/#more-8015
Thank you so much for your tutorial!!! I just started crocheting (less than a week) and I could easily follow this video and create my first sunflower 🌻🌻🌻 You are the best teacher! Know that your work is appreciated even to this day
Yayyyyyyyyy. Another video from you and a great one at that. Definitely worth the wait. 😊 xx
