Morimoto XBT Bluetooth Controller Not Working As Advertised

This video will show how the Morimoto Bluetooth controller doesn't default to the street-legal white (for more than a few seconds) when turned on, as advertised by Morimoto in their ads.

Dude, it's connecting to your phone, the app is still running, and it sends a signal to turn it red. Turn the app off like a normal human being.

Just installed the xbt with the profile prisms. Mine will not sync up to the same color. XBT is junk.. Which diode dynamic controller did you end up with? and is it plug and play or wiring harnesses need to be changed? Thanks

It's rgbw so you may need to swap a couple wires. Can't remember off hand.

the phone app sucks, i wrote software for a dual microcontroller to talk to multiple XBTs, much more features and without the phone-app limitations! :)

Same here ended up switch to diode dynamics controller and they work great.

Piece of junk that I payed 100bucks for, app dosent respond , colors are all inverted if I go to yellow it goes to blue , dosent do reds anymore, tried different resistors, dosent change anything, tried a new demon eye out of the box still nothing moves, im out of ideals, im guessing the Xbt box might have screwed up when playing with the wires on the car like it would need a reset, idk , im very dissapointed with time and money wasted on all this...

Yeah, I gave up on this crap and went with Diode Dynamics. They have a better app too.

Lolwut? Properly close out the application or turn off Bluetooth manually. Are you for real?

That's okay, I just replaced the POS with Diode Dynamics that works like it should and has more options.
