Use a metal spoon warmed up in a cup of boiled water. Golden Syrup, Treacle etc will slide easily off the spoon. Good recipe. Thanks.

I made this today the cake was so fluffy and yummy! But when I made the icing it tasted weird and had a funny taste I’m not sure why so instead I just put melted chocolate on top 😋

Unsalted I would usually use but if all you have is salted butter then it’s not a massive deal :) use what you have and go with the flow of the batter :)
