nice vid bro these deserve more attention
Another great video!
this video is rly well put together!
Heck yeah dude! Incredibly informative video!
Great video man!
Love the video mate, keep it up
Thx man!
now if only the run weren't so hecking long! great video love to see the break downs of it. weird that the PC is so much slower on text tho, can't even give the new age kids nice things like instant text anymore hehe
there is a cutscene remover mod in the works very similar to FF10's, though in its current state its quite bad. luckily the game has enough breaks scattered throughout the run, but yeah total run time is like 7.5 to 9.5 hours depending on version and experience :(
how the hell do you soft reset?
I heard about this video during RPG Limit Break's FF Relay. Earlier in that run a commentator mentioned that crits got changed and happen earlier in the game in the PC version. Any chance you might know what that was referring to and if there are any other mechanical changes to combat like that?
I was actually meant to cover this in the video but it had completely slipped my mind, basically your crit chance is based on your spirit stat, and due to a difference in calculation across versions, you can get critical hits significantly earlier on pc than you can on psx. This is fun for potential TAS and critical hit manipulation, but it usually doesn't do anything hugely beneficial in the run, and its the only difference that isnt covered in the video, thanks for reminding me!
@@syo5940 Is the exact change in calculation recorded anywhere public?
@@metalsonic8888 unfortunately not as far as I'm aware, though the TAS and segmented runners in the discord may have more info!
