    Hello! I am going to purchase my very first crochet hooks and wool in about half an hour! My mother-in-law is here and sent me to your channel to view some videos. I was worried as I am left handed but after watching this I'm excited! WooHoo! Can't wait to create. Will be looking through your videos on return of our shopping trip and when we start crocheting. Thanks for such a great channel.

    I'm not even left-handed but I still watched this video having already seen the right-handed version! I just love your videos, and am in awe you're able to crochet using both right and left hands xx

      Deborah Smith I’m pretty sure Bella Coco doesn’t crochet left handed. However, she does provide us lefties with a reverse video. A big thanks to her for that! She is my favorite crochet teacher. 😉🌹

      Diane Crumbley Oh, I never realised that Diane - I feel so thick now!! I honestly thought she was ambidextrous! I still think she's great though and always look forward, and enjoy, her videos! Thanks for enlightening me xx

    I’m not sure if I should thank you for this pattern or not! I make blankets for Project Linus and posted a photo - my sister in law liked it so much she asked me to make her 3 of them in different colour combinations. I’ve just started the 3rd one now 😂😂

    Thank you so so much. I love your leftie tutorials. They are so clear and easy to follow :) :)
    Have you got a leftie waffle square? I can't find one. Would love it if you could add it to your list!
    Thanks in advance

    I'm sure there's a good reason but I find I learn more if I know why...is there a reason you do a chain 3 for the first 12 DC in the magic circle - could you just not start with 12 DC? Same for row 2, why not just 2 in each of the 12 to make your 24?

      We have to make the starting chain to bring us up to the correct height ready to start the next stitch 😊

      @@bellacococrochet but wouldn't they all be that same height if you just started with 12 DC (us) instead of ch3 plus 11 DC? I'm only referring to those first two rounds. I tried it both ways and it looks exactly the same, just wondered why, thanks.

    I am working on making this blanket. I was thinking of adding a scallop edging to it as a border. Would you have a tutorial for it by any chance?

    Can I use a self striping yarn such as mandala?

    How would you change colours if you don't want to tie a knot?

    • @bellacococrochet
      @bellacococrochet  9 месяцев назад

      You can pull through the new colour as you make the final part of the stitch at the end of the round. I have a tutorial that shows how to change colour here: ruclips.net/video/zB3fEgXjFmk/видео.html 😊

      @@bellacococrochetthanks, I thought it might work that way, as I do when crocheting in rows. I finished my blanket and it turned out beautifully! I've added it to my donations for Project Linus Canada. My sister in law liked it so much she's asked me to make 3 of them for her lol.

      Payman Karem one for right handers and another for left handers. That is so, so nice that she reverses the video for us lefties! 😊
