Thank you SO much for doing left handed versions. I've tried learning to crochet so many times but could never get the hang of it when learning from a right handed person. I am so grateful to have found this!

These tutorials are brilliant, I've tried to crochet since I was a kid but being left handed I found it too confusing especially being taught by right handed family. I was determined to learn to do granny squares, and I have thanks to you. I'll keep coming back to learn more techniques.....thank you 😊

This really inspired my daughter to start crocheting. Now, she works with all of her heart to be the best and do the best thing. She is 13 years old, and is making hats and blankets for the premies at the hospitals all around the United States. Thank you so much.

I follow your tutorials religiously. The right handed granny square tutorial is how I started my first ever crochet project. Being left handed I worked it out not knowing that there is a left handed tutorial. From there I have learnt every pattern in both UK and US terms. I have done numerous projects and have visited many patterns and tutorials and I have to say that yours are the easiest to follow. Tutorial matches written patterns if given, camera is on point, you allow to pause and catch up, you explain the stitch pattern and also teach the stitch itself. Through what you have taught me, I can now read both UK and US patterns with ease. Through what you have taught me I have started my own little craft business and after a year of different projects, I am now receiving orders for the things I am making. Religiously learning, plenty of late nights and a lot of frogging and redoing, the hard work is paying off. Thank you. You opened up a different world for me. One I very much enjoy, because it leaves me both exhausted and exhilarated at the same time. (South Africa-Durban)

Thank you for this tutorial. It's nice to have left-handed crocheting tutorials out there, and I appreciate how slow and detailed your instructions were. I'll probably re-watch this video several times in the process of making a baby blanket for my friend. :) Oh, and I'm American, but I think "treble" crochet is the more appropriate term for this stitch!

I love your tutorials. I have been trying to Crochet for years... probably around 10 years. I always got so frustrated with it. The other night i was sitting on the couch and decided to try again. I found your tutorial on RUclips and did the Granny Square as you did it. This is the first time i have EVER been able to make ANYTHING with crochet. Then i tried your African Flower, and i accomplished that one too. You are a fantastic teacher. Would you please post some more videos. I am going to try and make baby booties. Thank you SO much for posting tutorials.

Thank you so much for showing the left handed crochet. I am 68 and decided to make a granny square blanket for a from 'across the pond' in Sweden. I am in the USA. I know how to do the crochet stitch and am glad you explained the difference between the standards. I still haven't decided if I am going to make one single square or use smaller ones and connect them later. I might do 1 using a variegated neutral color. Then, once we know if it's a boy or girl, I can add a row of that 'gender color' to each end to form a rectangle. I might even try adding a slightly larger square over one corner to make a hood.

You made it easy to understand and I appreciate you taking the time to make this video. I am not ready to make a large piece yet so I decided to keep going and turn the square into a pot holder. I am still having a hard time holding the yarn firm and keeping an even tension so I am going to make another matching pot holder to practice. 😀👍🏻

Great tutorial. It really helped me a lot. One suggestion I have is maybe stopping a couple times to show the camera what it looks like before you move onto another step would be helpful. Visual comparisons are big for me and not being able to get that clear of the work in between steps was a little bit hard, but hey, I made my very first granny square using this video so you're doing a lot of stuff right!
