Just started watching a couple of your videos, looks good. I built a similar setup. I like the back lit controller. I went with a waterproof fuse block tucked into the rack. All the grounds can hook to it and then 1 ground down to the frame. My front bar took its own power wire to it but the sides and rear run off a heavy power going to the fuse block also.
I would highly recommend taking off the front casing of those light bars and putting clear silicone to seal it they will leak. Mine were broken within 6 months
@@Down2Mob I'll be getting out this year for my first overlanding adventure, think I'm going with a badass off road trailer to pull behind my ram!🤟🏽 hope to see you out there somewhere brother!👊🏾
please some one help...........i already have a light bar on my truck with its on wiring harness to come on with high beam, BUT i want to add another light bar with its on wiring harness but to come on with the other light bar on high beam?? can i just add the new light bar into the 1st relay
Hey Phil love the channel! I started following you right when you got the Glad. But, this is off topic from lighting, and a question on the Dogemahal, since I’m running a RAM 1500. When I bought my truck I opted to go with 3.92 gears, maybe for a small boat, and way before I started a overlanding build. So, my question to you is: What kind of gears did you run with all the extra weight and overlanding rig poses for adequate power off road and good highway driving? Thanks.
It depends on the switch you get. I’ve seen 6-8-10 before. A single switch is 1 or you’ll short it out it won’t work long if it even works at all lol You’ll want a switch per light
True, I said that a bit weird i guess. The relay box is wired to a fuse tap, what I meant to say is each light doesnt have to be on a different fuse. I'm no electrical expert, and I certainly dont talk like one 🤣

Hope you enjoyed my silly antics and explanations of this system! 😜
That ol' light bar is still working great 👍 When living in the woods you can never have to many lights .. NEVER 😂
Haha hell ya Keith I'm stoked it's on ya rig!! You got a piece of the dodgemahal brotha!
Thank you my friend for not forgetting
Enjoy your adventures
Of course gary!

Thanks bro looking forward to viewing your new rig set up!
Awesome video!!!! Got one light bar on my car!!!!! But nothing like what you got!!!!!!
What size wire did you have to run to your lights and your switch? I have 1 light bar 32" that says it's 432 watts. Would 8 awg wire be to large?
Good video! Love the lights! Makes me want to go buy some!
That was awesome man 😄
Good stuff
Haha thanks man always trying to have fun with it!
Down2Mob Overland thats why I love your channel. 😎👍
Don’t ever let anybody talk you into doing anything that deviates from that path man.
@@randal1470 heck ya! Thanks for that. I wont!
I need a light bar or bars now!

Hi. I noticed that you have a two way radio antenna on your rig. Do you ever get any signal interference on your radio from the LED's when they're on?
You didnt leave a link for the circular lights on the front! Im definitely interested in picking up a set of those! Love watching your channel!

Are all those light bars off one battery?
do you know how many light i can put in a switch?

Nice set up bro liked the vid
Thank you!
Whoa, relays do not replace the need for fuses. the wires leaving the relay device still need to be fused, preferably very close to the unit.

@@Down2Mob Yes the feed to the relay box should be fused, as well as each departing wire to each device appropriately.
What size guage wire are you running?
Are you installed a pair of round lights on one switch or you seperated it?
Are you going to be out at KOH this year?
So one switch for all the Lamps ? 😯 I have 4 small leds plug to one cheap plastic switch smh maybe that’s why sometimes kind like blink ?
Air four tires at once dude!..that's like space age to me I am from Ecuador...love that swicht ...I want to buy the dodge Mahal...:-)
Love the cheap light bars ! I think I may have mounted them under the rack instead of over to help protect them
that air fliter??? why would u do that and not snorkle it
First like
Hey thanks mike!!
Down2Mob Overland you’re welcome! Can’t wait to see your new rig...😬
