Anna Bergendahl will be representing Sweden in Eurovision 2010 with this song "This is My Life". The song, which has been written by Kristian Lagerström and Bobby Ljunggren is performed in English. It gave Anna her first number one single in Sweden. She is hoping for a similar fate in the Eurovision final to bring Sweden their fifth victory.

As my favourite Eurovision country, Sweden never fail to impress me and this year is no exception. This song is haunting. Equally good is another of Sweden's contenders for the night with the song Manboy which however failed to win.

i am so shocked Anna didn't made it to the finals, she delivered a performance that is nothing short of brilliance and arguably the strongest that night! if its some kind of consolation the great Monica Zetterlund got the dreaded null point at the eurovsion song contest during the '60's and she redeemed herself with a great international career.

Shock that this didn't make the final, probably the best song last year and one of the all time greats to be overlooked. Pity but that's the way of Eurovision…which is still one of the greatest shows going….despite all the critics!

I am really sorry that people did not appreciate this song, she is beautiful and has a lovely voice and sang this song with a lot of passion. Shame that some people cannot see what a pretty girl she is in her own way. When some of the people with their negative comments start to get old they may only then realise that beauty comes in many different packages.

Even if we choose a song with Swedish lyrics, the writer of the song and/or the boss of Melodifestivalen will get it translated for ESC.
I can't say for sure the boss has a say in that, but I think he does. He knows you have a better chance to win if you send a song with English lyrics. The writers want to get it translated as it will reach out to more people.
