By now there should be some deals for Inspires at 500$-1000$.......You won't regret buying one that was well taken care of.....
Skynet would be proud of you...... I have one and found a good deal for another.

And it still rules the sky in 2020 :))......
I had drops of ice on it at -15 dregrees Celsius and I still got my 5 minutes of footage :)) that I wanted in the winter trails. Has even great GPS signal where others struggle

I'm ready to upgrade from my Yuneec Q500 4K drone. I've been flying for a year and no crashes and pretty confident with my skills. I'm looking at the Inspire 1 V2.0 because I can't quite afford the 2 yet. So I'm finding out from research that the 1 does not have obstacle avoidance correct?

Nothing compares! One thing thou... i dont think you should install a camera with drone on because of those copper contacts in the gimbal.

How does everyone think this is a "Long Term Review"?
Long term means you give your thoughts on it, Good and Bad based on your experience of a LONG PERIOD (say 1yr). This is NOT a long term review... it's a highlight video and not a very good one. It has all the same information that thousands of others have already done.
LT review... lets hear some stories, good, bad, what you like what you don't like, what you would change AFTER HAVING IT FOR A LONG TERM PERIOD.

I am new to the drone world. Is it possible for someone to program a drone to follow my vehicle without having some type of operational device, like a GPS, placed anonymously on my car. How would it be programmed to my vehicle? I'm being followed and need to know how to prove it. I have video, but I need more information. Please help!!

Rudy Perini Unsure what you mean by this question are you asking can you still use your primary controller like you used to before? The answer is yes the pilot has all the same features that he once had however you now have an ability to have a co-pilot on the slave controller to do all the camera work or whatever privileges you set forth.

I am deeply disappointed by DJI INspire 1, a large, professional looking drone with a poor range like toy drones. When it reaches 800 meters, the signal begins to fail, when it is 1 kilometer away, the signal is interrupted and it returns to the takeoff point. Even when selecting a strong signal transmission channel, nothing changes.
