I was here today and I just want to take the time out to say that I had a very emotional experience today at this restaurant!!!! My mother has been gone for 7years and today dining their I had their sweet potatoes!!!! and in those 7 years this is the very first time that I thought Margaret (my mother) was in that kitchen no one since has ever mad anything taste like hers!!!! I want to personally thank the person that was responsible making this recipe and for giving me that soul cleasing cry from missing my mom. I recommend this place to any one who want to come in and dine in and enjoy some excellent food, beautiful ambiance and an all around wonderful experience.

This is honestly nice, If only these corrupt politicians who run the state and city would invest equally in all communities across the city especially the west and south side you would see great change and kids getting off the street, also without kicking out the wrong good people out of their neighborhood's.

Why the prices so high though? She charging $24 for 3 pieces of chicken in a neighborhood that’s a food dessert? The property is tax exempt so she not even giving back to the community? This place won’t last 5 years just watch! Just like the other location didn’t last

Who would want to open a business in a black neighborhood. The first day it opened it would get robbed. What’s funny is in the past Bridgeport was known a racist neighborhood and yet they have two black businesses. I wonder why why they located there?
