It's such a blessing 🙌🏽 to see owners first off who have their own business but it's especially a Joy when they've been in business for over 30 years!! Ms.Peaches started back when our society was racially divided and by her cooking Soul Food and Good Home Cooking it keep our Community together!! I do wish her all the very best and much success!!💜💜
Now this is where they should've filmed the tv show "in the heat of the night" instead of in the state of Georgia because Greenville Mississippi has a much more real down to Earth Southern atmosphere!!!

Damn! This place sounds so good! I hate when Mom and Pop eateries close! Damn corporate restaurants trying to take over. Maybe not in this case. But it's still happening to other home town restaurants.

Wonderful story about how she started! my great grandmother cooked without recipes as well, my grandmother would watch her and write down what she was doing so she could remember we have some wonderful family recipes we’ve been able to pass down from her. does anyone know how the restaurant is doing through this pandemic?
Mississippi: Biscuits and gravy Southerners, and Mississippians in particular, will tell no--Mississippi is all about biscuits and gravy for breakfast!. Picture a fluffy buttermilk biscuit slathered with sausage and mushroom gravy, and you've got the quintessential Mississippi morning!.
I can only imagine how nice the food is in there but it sure looks good, we have some really good Caribbean food outlets in the UK but this looks so nice.
Some local friends brought us there when my band was on tour and played in Jackson. They told us it would be the best fried chicken we had ever tasted. It indeed more than lived up to the billing. Peaches was not there, but Roderick was and he asked if we had a CD that he could buy for their jukebox! My understanding is that they did indeed put our CD in their jukebox. I'm sorry to hear that Peaches has died and the restaurant is closed. I'll always remember my meal there.
Thanku for sharing your story. It's always good to hear your people doing & being successful and caring for other's. May you have many more yrs of happiness & success. GOD bless you and yours. Peace
May God in Heaven poor down the blessings upon you my dear Sister !What a legacy you will leave behind I hope you have some one standing near to take over and continue to feed the people my dear Sister ! God bless .
