I'm a big guy and brought my truck in for warranty work and had the 2023 as a loaner. Nice looking SUV. I prefer my truck and never been a fan of cars or compact SUVs but this is one I would totally buy. For someone that's 6'4", it's super comfortable and I really enjoyed driving it.
I've been given on for an extended test drive while my Enclave is in for service and I un fact tell you that it is an awesome vehicle,I got it with 21 miles and now it has 1100 and people have asked me what is it,the 3cyl. turbo is very impressive the ST model thatvim driving is my favorite,I'm impressed with the Encore GX ST nice job GM/Buick
Aside from the Encore, Buicks are very attractive. The Regal, Lacrosse, New Enclaves, Envision, and this but tbh the Encore GX doesn't hold a candle to the rest of Buick's lineup.
@robertwilsoniii2048 The Encore GX isn't bad looking, but I think the generation we just had is better than the new one with the wildcat inspired looks. The regular encore however, is horrid.
I want to hear what people have to say after 40k miles or so. The car is assembled in south Korea with a cvt transmission made in mexico! Not to mention the 3 cylinder turbo charged engine. You'd have to be under a psychiatrist's care to buy one of these. Perhaps a lease so all of the inevitable problems wil be the responsibility of GM
They ruined the emblem for the Buick! The old emblem was much prettier n I used to have a buick encore it had the old emblem on it n I traded it in for a RAV4 that has more space than this buick😊

The envista is the best one looks like a urus

It has good design, price and power (doesn't feel like it's a CVT). BUT, interior space and fuel economy is not great compared to competition.
Because it's not a cvt, it's an automatic transmission.
It has both as an option CVT front drive 9spd for AWD
