Great fun with Mr. Moore, the panelists and guests! This episode originally aired on television on December 2, 1963; about a week after President Kennedy's assassination.
We had a dog when we were kids. He loved our mailman. The mailman went on vacation and his relief mailman hated dogs. He sprayed our dog in the eyes with HALT! for no reason at all. Our dog hated mailmen after that.
Palm Springs Weekend was a big hit for Warner Bros. The film also starred WB stars Connie Stevens, Ty Hardin and Bob Conrad. Troy went on to star in Raoul Walsh Western with Suzanne Pleshette (His then wife) and WB stars Diane McBain and William Reynolds. His last film at WB was My Blood Runs Cold.
Because it was funnier to use the handbag of a panelist. It made her somewhat worried about what they might have put in it (see her reaction to thinking it might be something alive) which also added to the humor. It also means the bag couldn't have any secret compartments or other tricks to it, so they knew that whatever was in it had to fit into her specific purse.
Handsome man. Loved him

I was 7 weeks old when this first aired and I just turned 59. My how time flies.
Imagine receiving a cheap Papermate ink pen for Christmas.

Don't understand why the mini cyclist used her HANDBAG, why didn't he just bring on the bike in a bag of his own?

Ralph Kramden should have shaved before being on TV.
