just binged watched all your synth school videos , now I understand the buttons and knobs and what they do , the only thing left to learn is how to combine all these aspects of a synth and learn to use them in the context of a mix . any books or videos you'd recommend ? or what can I do to better my sound design capabilities . Thanks for the videos btw !
!! So happy to hear this my friend :)) Uhmm mixing synths can be tough, it it’s something I wanna start exploring on my channel a bit more so once this series is over I plan to start posting vids about that. But I’m the mean time. I’d say the biggest thing for using synths right in the course of a mix is the sound selection and what different sound sources you try to combine together right off the bat, as some sounds naturally gel together and some dont, so when you pick sounds that do; the mix comes together smoothly, but when they clash a bit, it’s much tougher to mix it down. Honestly good sound selection is I’d say at least 75% of a good mix
What I especially like about this series is how clear and concise each video is. Quick and to the point. No fluff, No BS. 👍🏼
Thanks my bud :)) only BS here is the Bass Station! 😂
Excellent video.

You covered the thing I used to avoid, so I don't need to avoid it anymore :) much love pal
