Honnestly, still one of the best !
Had a kinda low today, was feeling lonely, unproductive and because of my carelessness I started a mini-fire in my microwave oven! Went for a walk to go see a relative, had my headphones and this track popped up randomly on my feed!
It truly brightened up my mood! Makes you feel like a fresh wind in your face in a clear blue sky! I hope you’re feeling good too!

4 years. 4 freaking years!! The amount of time i waited for this song to pop up in my algorithm!!! This song got me through 2020 lock down while i was recovering from covid. I made the mistake of not saving it to my playlist. Without knowing the name there was no way i could search for it. I even tried "guy on skateboard song" in the search bar. 😅 I just hoped one day it would show up again. 4 years later....it did. 🛹🚶🏾♂️

Just love Maiga. I get so immersed into these tunes and can drift away for hours at a time. Watching the sun setting over the horizon, the warm summer air and slight beads of perspiration building up on my forehead,a really cold drink in hand, nothing like Maiga to set the mood. And this is coming from a metalhead!

You reminded me I used to have dreams where I was flying! I would be above a beautiful forest flying so fast, yeah, like an eagle! The recurring flying dream I was having was right before I left the depressing rural small town in a cold climate, where I grew up, and moved to a city on the beach with so much beauty everywhere in a warm climate. I was finally free to be my true self! I am a visual artist (mostly oil paintings) and the area I moved to had a vibrant visual artist culture. I was represented in art galleries, commissions, and taught art classes. People started asking to buy my art at age 13 and never stopped. It's time to imagine being that eagle flying over the woods again to where I belong, and can be surrounded by my lifelong close friends again. There is also someone very special waiting for me there. We fell in love at first sight in our 20's. It's been decades and we're still very much in love. I am already working on a plan to make that happen. What happened to me also happened to millions like me. We have incurable painful diseases and medical conditions that cause life threatening disabling intractable pain. Because of lies being told about us to the US public for profit, we lost access to our life saving medical care, that made it possible for us to stay alive and take care of ourselves the way healthy people take for granted. Uncontrolled pain kills quickly or slowly,. However, I have a new Neurologist Nurse Practitioner who listens to me and believes me, and has compassion. That is very hard to find. She is actively looking for a Dr or Palliative care, which I qualify for, that will save my life, and give me the ability to love life again, the way healthy people take for granted. She won't give up until she finds the help I need. I bet those recurring flying dreams will return when that happens, and it will be physically possible to return to where I belong and is my true home, surrounded by love, and being able to do what I love again. Edit: I also used to ride a longboard skateboard on the paved path along the beach, like the photo in this wonderful uplifting song!
