Nikolai Roslavets builds his sonic architectures as a movement of sound masses that collide at blazing speeds and under so many different angles, delineated as iridescent areas of color on a map, all in graceful movements .... :-)

Scriabin's influence is gigantic. Nevertheless, the harmonic patterns go far beyond . The somehow evanescent scriabinian atmosphere turns to a more constructivist language. What a shame for USSR to have prosecuted him and destroyed so many manuscripts !!!!!

I heard of Rosalvets in 2005 but the other colleagues of this music direction were a well-kept secrets. The result was the growing of a lousy substitute which began the demise of occidental music.

Terrific piece, but not exactly what I would call Soviet Peoples Music. What time is the next train to Siberia?
