Best solo ever in music history
Hands down
Ping tloyd
Pink tloyd
My favorite of all time
One day, maybe, our grand children will ask us what was the big deal about guitar solos.
This video answers that question. Whoever can listen to this without getting an eargasm, a stabbing feeling to the soul and tears in their eyes, they have no soul.
hardanheavy amen to all the above. Eargasm, love it! How true. 🎶🎸✌🏻😎
i wish they will come back and do one last album.......so that artist of this generation knw what kind of music never dies......
Without doubt the finest band on this planet !!!
The master at his best solo yet
No mistakes,, it's PERFECT !! As simple as this word .. perfection !
Edited/removed part is from 7:20 - 8:34.
Your welcome.
* you're
"Comfortably Numb" is proof that you can do solo guitar nicest in the
world without much speed and technicalities, just Heart and Virtuosity !!.
Still as awesome now as when i saw it live all them years ago
i was there, cant believe it was so long ago. the 2nd best live concert ive ever witnessed! JAW DROPPING STUFF!!!
gary clulow If this was the second best concert you’ve been to, what the hell was the first best concert you’ve been to them.
@@shspurs1342 Justin Bieber for sure 😂🤣
Is the best (by any chance) one of their performances from the In The Flesh tour (1977)?
Awesome!!! This is my favorite song from a long time now ...
I knew that there was a missing part in the solo but i never had the chance to listen it carefully ... now that i did all i have to say is : why the hell would someone edit such an great solo ?
Gilmour edited it, there is a part there in the middle where he plays some wrong notes.
I wasn't even born when they were doing Pulse!
I feel real pity for the 10 idiots who left a thumb down. They seriously should see a doctor. This is the epitome of rock music as it could not be performed any better.
My wife thought this was a COVER of a Five Finger Death Punch song and now I'm ready for a divorce :/
@Kodred Cud. +funny shit
Are you mad? Sounds like she'd believe anything!! 🤣😂😉
@Mustafa Omar no, nobody does
Even better seeing the whole thing. Seeing it and hearing it from the dvd and cd is not the same anymore now that I heard the whole version
I saw Pink Floyd at Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg on their Division Bell tour. And what a concert. It beats every other concerts I´ve been to. It was absolutely awesome. Pink Floyd rules. And last year I saw Roger Waters in Stockholm on his "The Wall" tour.
This is just great! Keep it up--and thank you!
Gilmour is god! This is still amazing
Wow... I'm crying... amazing!
This the G.O.A.T.
The best solo of numb ever played, in my opinion. Damn, why did they cut this solo of the dvd version
OnrustN cause somewhere in the parts that were cut he hit some sour notes
Good quality recording of this solo wow luv it. It’s one of the best so far if not the best recording yet.
This is pretty much the worst audio quality of this exact performance on youtube lol
They did a pretty good job on the edit for the Pulse DVD and CD releases but you can't beat seeing and listening to the original full version. I wish they'd release full versions of the concerts from Pulse and the Delicate Sound of Thunder.
The uncut Delicate Sound Of Thunder version of Comfortably Numb bootleg recording is on my channel 23rd August 1988
So there is a god after all.....(David Gilmore). This is a perfect performance of a perfect song....pure and mesmerizing.
Guitar sounds like crying :)
You, I'm sure, like my have been saying this for YEARS.
I always envision him saying internally
"Scream for me bitch" when it hits around the quarter mark
Hahah I think you are still lucky enough to saw that show! I was only 8 yrs old when they were doing pulse. sigh. However I have to admit that "ball" looks absolutely fantastic!
Wish I was old enough to seen it :)
That is beyond belief !!
Fucking RUclips put an ad during the solo.
n.1 forever
I would have cleaned out my bank accounts, used up all my credit cards & borrowed every dollar I could from friends & family, to have been there listening to Gilmour playing that. ❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome 😊😊!!!!!!
wow, the missed part is beautiful... I guess Gilmour didn't like it because it has a few "mistakes".
it was that small mistake but it made it even more beautiful
Sounded perfect to me. 😎👍🏻✌🏻🎸
Hi Giovanna, it seems that you're the only one who still have this version. I had it too , recorded from bbc television, but I lost the vhs. I'm glad I found your video on RUclips, thanks!! Do you have it also on a vhs? In case you have, by any chance, is it possible to make a better copy for sharing?
imagine being there. Just that.
What a great concert been there and wore the badge
Magistrale all'infinito.unico dai rde alfo
Why the *beep* did they cut it off? I mean, if it was for long for VHS/DVD/CD/LP, why didn't they just released pulse with 3-disc set instead of 2-disc? That would have made room for giving it even better quality, because shorter videos can be upgraded to higher quality than the longer videos!
who are those 2 genius that has put the dislike????????
They wanted download the video by pressing "thumb down"
Simon Nevada Those 2 geniuses (now 3) might be Roger Water fans instead of Pink Floyd fans. Maybe they became PF fans because of The Wall album, which is not really their best album (in my humble opinion). I like their previous albums better, starting with their Meddle album and ending with their The Division Bell album. Wish You Were Here is my favorite. The Wall was a double album and came out on vinyl. No CD’s yet. I only like Side 1 and Side 3, and Comfortably Numb is the entire Side 3, and deservedly so, again my opinion.
Lucia Delia The Wall is my favourite album of all time. My second favourite of all time is Wish You Were Here.
Dios existe y se llama David Jon Gilmour - God exist, and his name is David Jon Gilmour.
SICK solo
Bom pra caraaaaaaaamba !!!!
Hi Giovanna - I have the Pulse DVD. It’s not cut. I also saw them on this tour which was really The Division Bell Tour.
wow
これがBestLIVE
Would have been an amazing show to b at to bad I was only 11 at the time lol but my dad was a drummer in a band and I can remember my mom n dad goin to c pink floyd in concert
What happened to Quality , Only 360 Very Poor , RUclips
omg this is that version with a long solo or something i guess!cuz it was another video but EMI has blocked that video
k.illed that stratocaster ,jaw dropping stuff
thumbs up if you think that the red strat sounds better in this song than the black strat
Your text might be 8 years old but I'll answer it anyway. David Gilmour has the very very first Stratocaster ever made. It's code number is 0000001 it's worth over $1000000. I think that the red one represents one that was made at a later date and I think the electronics and Pickups AR different
For years I have considered this song and others a tribute to Syd Barrett. What a tribute! Will this song ever b used by those who say IGY6?
lol this version has a diffrent angle then my angle of the ppv broadcast. Is this the BBC Edit?
Reminds me of a night on acid
"Una obra de Roger Waters... sobreponiendo la pared, destrozando el suelo de la cordura. "Comfortably Numb", "Cómodamente... insensible". 1979... explota la razón. Pink Floyd... idea musical"
God on earth.
@m22frogger Awfully right
a few psychedelic mistakes..
Roger left 24 years ago :)
Where is Roger?
matijaACDC disliking the video
He left the band 1985
It's not such a rare version...a bad solo part was cut that unnecessarily stretched the song. I'm a huge fan of David but all in all they did well to eliminate a somewhat boring part of the final solo. In my view, the performance in Venice in 89 is the best that Gilmour ever played in a live concert.
David Gilmour Touches Guitar 🤔 everyone listening instantly has an orgasm & every feeling they experienced in their life flushes though their bodies 🙏
Nothing ‘rare’ about this whatsoever.
Your reproduction of this concert is poor.
Not "uncut".
Shit quality and unwatchable.
Go get DSOT BluRay.
