If the solo on PULSE made you cry, then so will this one. Gilmour's excellent improvisation really shines through here.
This is a video I found of the show in the Stadio Delle Alpi in Torino, Italy on September 13, 1994, which I synced with an audio bootleg. It is the only live recording that was recorded directly off of the soundboard, besides the one for the PULSE vhs/dvd/album. This is what accounts for the crystal clear sound, making it a unique bootleg.

You can only paint The Last Supper, Guernica, etc once. David Gilmour paints a different work of art every time he plays this solo. Hopefully he’s got more in him.

Crazy that this version of the solo is almost as long as the whole song in the album version.
I think he must have got sick playing this.
I sometimes gotta rewind it so it doesn’t end.
Gilmour is the only guitarist I can’t copy or mimic. He’s walking in his own realm.

Sarcasm Inc for real. Pink Floyd was a masterpiece of musicians just completely in sync with one another. David and Richard has great chemistry together. I’m almost certain David is calling it quits due to the loss of Richard. It can’t be the same without him
Ho visto decine e decine di volte questa canzone dal live PULSE nella serata finale della serie di questo meraviglioso tour all'Earl court di Londra a fine ottobre '94 ed ogni volta mi emoziona
E provo pure un po' d'invidia anche di chi allora ha potuto partecipare a questi concerti.
Penso che un evento del genere possa capitare solo una volta nella vita e che rimarrà nei ricordi più belli di chi era lì .

Quanti fantastici ricordi. Solo adesso mi rendo conto pienamente della fortuna che ho avuto a godere di quei momenti. Avevo 17 anni e ... piangevo come un bambino x l'emozione di partecipare al concerto dei "miei Pink Floyd" , io che sono cresciuto a pane, salame e... Pink Floyd, appunto!! Confortably numb ha accompagnato quasi tutta la mia vita e sarà sempre uno dei più grandi capolavori della storia musicale e David Gilmour l' uomo della mia vita.

there is alot of versions on here from 1987 to 1994 and even from his 2006 tour which are waay better then on Pulse

Definitely not better than the Oslo, Norway version, but it is still quite a different beast Gilmour conjures up in this one.
Oslo, Norway version is hands down the best among all Comfortably Numb renditions, but people criminally overlook it. Sorry for being a bit to reply.
