Today's video was shot the first week of March just before Shelter In Place was put in place here in San Francisco. Today is the day it makes it live and this is a video we did shoot a couple of times and this is our second result. We did sadly leave off L'Eau D'Hiver sadly the bottle was MIA but this was a fun video to do and shoot twice and I'm happy with the result. The fragrances are all ranked by Dalya. Musc Ravageur rocked my WORLD! I actually seemed to have a visceral reaction, and then I read...NO florals! Then I realized after I found out that the flowers weren’t there, THATS why it came off as SO incredibly DIFFERENT! In nothing but a GOOD and rebellious kinda way! ❤️

Awesome video collab! Love when you guys collab together to get your different take on fragrances. I really like Frederic Malle because of how different the scents are. I think I’m going to sample Musc Ravenger, Promise and Une Rose. Carnal Flower and Portrait of a Lady are lovely scents!

Lovely house review, even though you skipped favourites such as L'Eau driver and Noir Epices. I really enjoy these house reviews, and especially when you have such great guests - two somewhat different takes on the fragrances is so illuminating. I need to try Lys. I've been casually looking for a somewhat masculine floral and that sounds like it would fit the bill. Such a fabulous line of fragrances.

This is my top five from Frederic Malle, at least of the fragrances I've tested. I love this house. The fragrances smell and feel luxurious and high quality. The concept of the line itself is liberating for the perfumer and enjoyment of the consumer. Fantastic all around.
I own promise and had smelled enigma before and i can't found any correlation that would remind one or the other... but promise smells really expensive and has this X factor to it...
The price tag is the only thing that both share in common 😂.... oouh i also get the comment on both smells like a fragrance elderly would wear... promise being for grandma and Enigma for a grandpa ☠️

Wow!!! POAL number 2! It will always, always be my number 1 but I agree that MR is in the top 5. Probably would be a 2 for me. Still a bunch on that list that I want to try - Lipstick Rose and Carnal Flower being the first 2. Love seeing you guys review together!

Olivia Giacobetti is a French perfumer and I think that she developed a fragrance that recalls her French memory of lilac. Lilac in France (Paris surrounding) is a garden flower that pops up at the end of spring. It is often associated with lightness and simplicity. In Paris, in June it also rains a lot, and in my mind lilac is definitely associated with water, something fresh and delicate. The air is slightly humid and the atmosphere is peaceful. All the perfume that pretend to smell like lilac often smell what lilac is "supposed' to smell, according to its color--it's a lilac fantasy, a projection of intentions, but do they really smell like the real flower? Anyway, I love your videos and respect everybody's opinion. Diversity is what makes perfumery so fascinating.

I'm a huge fan of Promise POAL and Rose and Cuire but surprisingly, En passant is my TOP no 4. It's so different from the other three, refreshing and really addictive. I was surprised I loved it so much hahaha
Eau de Magnolia is quite famous in Asia but not a lot of youtubers mentioned it.

Awesome ranking by Dalya! Have not smelled any FM fragrance yet. Have considered Portrait of a Lady as a potential blind buy, but no must check them out first, specially now after this ranking, must check out those top three for sure.

Thank you for the video. I go to the Malle counter and get distracted by POAL even though there are obviously lots of other amazing fragrances in the line. When the world opens again, I am going to re-watch this video and then go to Saks to try some of them in earnest.

I live in an area where Macy’s is the most upscale perfume shopping available within 60 miles so I don’t always have the opportunity to discover new lines or fragrances in person. Love your videos and definitely helps continue my fragrance journey!

I really love this house. I'm not sure if you have it but Angeliques sous la pluie is in my top 10. Also I love Musc Ravageur but it was even better before the reformulation. I really wish I could get my hands on an old one.

En Passant is my favorite of the dozen or so FMs I've smelled to date and one of the only florals that I don't find cloying. I have a lot of perfumes, but always reach for this one.

Le Parfum de Therese is my fav from the line by far. I find that fragrance perfect and exquisite. Nice to see that It would have been in the rejected pile 🤣

Bigarde is one of the more unique unisex perfumes out there. The pepper notes combined with cardamom and orange are lovely. The other fragrances I wear are Annick Goutal's Eau D'Hadrien and Tom Ford's Neroli. I'll have to stick through to the bitter end to see which fragrances you actually like.

This was THE best perfume video in my personal ranking. Greetings from Germany ... PS I ( female ) like to have Music Ravageur in my collection but someone told me it smells like childhood on a sheep farm. Or like someone with a lot of hair on the chest and on the back, Thomas Magnum for example. Or the sexuell Dragqueen of fragrance. I still want MR!
