Absolutely, I was born and raised in London and have been more places in European than my own country. Im honestly stunned by some of the places these guys have shown.
I didn't realise how green and lush England is until I went to a Mediterranean country that was dry and baron. Seeing England with fresh eyes opened my mind. It's like a fairy tale land in places.
yeah I live right on the edge of the Cotswolds in Oxfordshire, and I'm so used to seeing green rolling hills, I never really think about how nice it really is. until I go somewhere else for awhile, but even then quickly take it for granted again.
I grew up in New Zealand but live in the UK now. People here underrate how beautiful the UK is. Many have told me about how stunning NZ is and my response is that the UK is amazingly beautiful as well, you guys just have to check it out more often.
You know, when you take everything into consideration, the country functions well, its safe, the people are friendly, the countryside is stunning, the architecture is amazing, a history that goes back to Stonehenge...the UK just might be the best place to live on Earth...
I'm a Northerner. SO glad you found and appreciate the beauty of this part of England. If you come back, you must visit the Forest of Bowland and Pendle Hill. So off the tourist trail but so gorgeous.
Isn't it good to see tourists visiting other areas besides London? As exciting as London is - If any other tourists are looking to visit, see Wales and the English Lake District in Cumbria and the beauty of Scotland, you'll see the *REAL* beauty of Britain.
I’m a Northerner who now lives in Cornwall, and this made me homesick. These are my old stamping grounds. Brought back many happy memories. Thank you. PS Cornwall is also stunning and has fantastic beaches.
You guys a pretty awesome...unlike a lot of Americans who visit the UK you didn't just stay in London. I'm lucky enough to live not too far from the Lake District and it really is an incredible part of the UK..
I always notice how nice our country is when I've come off a cruise holiday and I'm on a coach back home from Southampton to Liverpool. I just love how green the uk is!
People don’t realise how beautiful this part of England is, I have spoke to many from all over the world who have visited and they are blown away by the scenery, 600 year old pubs at the foot of the hills with micro brewery’s...it really is like something out of a postcard.
My home. Magical and breathtaking. I'm still getting out to all these beautiful places that I have visited many times during lock down. Helvellyn and Striding Edge terrified me as a 13 year old with my dad in the snow. My Dad locked his keys in the car at Ribble head when I was 14! And Malham was a fun school trip out. And Ingleton, magical and mystical. Dad taught me how a camera works on that walk. Thank you for taking me back. I will go to all these much loved and very close places after lock down. Thank you again 🙏 I'm going to phone my Dad now.
You guys brought me close to tears with this one, i can never get up there due to spinal injuries.....having said that, this is my new target, i need to experience that. I have never seen anything like that and i i'm English 💔👍.
Fantastic video. Definitely the best part of England and one of the best parts of the British Isles. The wet and cloudy weather just adds to the atmosphere.
It gives it a pretty magical vibe when it's foggy and overcast. I think it was definitely more exciting hiking up in the fog, but we're glad we had sunlight at the top so we could really take everything in :)
Bold move tackling Striding Edge in cloud and wet weather, but definitely worth it for that view! Worth noting that proper equipment is essential when hiking in the Lakes: full waterproofs, hiking boots, map & compass, plenty of layers etc.
Hey! Welcome to my part of the world glad you enjoyed it. Although Ribblehead and Malham are only an hour and a half drive away from the Lake District they're actually in the Yorkshire Dales, which is a different National Park.
I must have climbed Helvellyn more than 10 times and never had that amazing above the clouds view before! Very lucky people, and amazing video footage of striding edge. Well done guys.
So glad you enjoyed it! England's amazing! We definitely recommend renting a car and exploring all over the coast and Lake District if you get the chance 😍
You have taken the quality of your travel videos to the next level with this refreshing look at Northern England. I would have guessed you were stood on top of Mount Everest with the clouds below must have been well worth the long climb.
By far the best travel channel on the tube really feel you take your viewers with you and don't throw mountains of money to do your trips which shows people you can have the time of your life on a budget . Well done guys
I would have done a double thumbs up for this if there were such a feature! Superlative editing hypnotic footage.. a gentle and mesmerizing narrative... I seriously think you deserve 100000 + subscribers and hope that happens for you very soon
I grew up in Skipton which is about 9 miles from Malham and we visited there regularly. I walked up Hellvellyn in 1984 or 1985 with 2 friends and the whole area of the Lake DIstrict and the Yorkshire Dales is unforgettable. I am glad you got to see the sites. My father would have loved your film too! Well done!
Maybey it was at one time .but i think things have been reversed , who would want to live in London its so busy you feel cramped . You pay a fortune just to drive through. Youd be struggling to find a place to park up . If you need to rent a place its 4 or 5 times the price it is up north . I dont want you all to move up north and crowd me out , but how you can afford to live down there amazes me . I used to live there when i was a teenager .i didnt find it very friendly and welcoming . So please stop there , dont come up here and push up prices.
Thanks so much! We're so glad we were able to get it up for a few minutes. It was so cold that the batteries kept dying so we had to stick them up our shirts and down our pants to warm them up 😂 but it definitely paid off!
Thank you so much for inspiring me to go and explore parts of England I have. never been to. The lakes look gorgeous and you guys are doing a great job.. I'm hooked.
You really should have made time to go to the top at Malham, the limestone pavement and views from there are spectacular! The Helvellyn shots were superb. It's great to see people enjoying the wider England experience. Safe and happy travels! x
Great video. We visited Malham Cove yesterday for the first time and was incredible. Once we got on top of the cove we then walked to Gordale Scar and then Janets Foss. Definitely need to give Helvellyn a try next.
I suppose lots have people have told you that the water that comes out of Malham Tarn isn’t the stream that comes out at the bottom of the cliff; it comes out further down the valley. Limestone rocks, so water dissolves a route through.
Thank you guys so much for showing the beauty that we have here in the UK. I'm getting the bug to go out exploring again. Love all of your videos. Happy adventuring.
Thanks so much! Ya, if you can handle being a bit chilly, it's definitely worth exploring awesome places in the winter. We only saw a handful of people on the 8 mile hike 🙌
I live in Surrey now, but originate from Yorkshire, this video has made me re-evaluate why I still live here, it's better scenery up there, friendlier people, far better food and people don't spend their time talking like experts about things they know next to nothing about!
Didn't even say "Goodbye, adventurers"...tsk tsk tsk...lol DAT'S a GIGANORNOUS bridge! Also, as gorgeous and picturesque the mountains looked, there's just something about the water streams that I find so much more incredible!
Haha we just wanted to leave you with beautiful views...not our silly faces. 😉 We absolutely loved all the streams there! They would just pop up out of the blue - like, they'd literally just start flowing out of a crack in a wall or hole in the ground. It was so pretty and unique!
Back in 2015 we had some pretty big floods in Yorkshire & for the first time in living memory the waterfall that once flowed overthrow top of Malham Cove returned. If you walk up on to the top of the Cove you find an incredible Limestone pavement. Also if you ever return to Malham, go check out Janet’s Foss & Gordale Scar; two waterfalls within 30mins walk of Malham village.
You could have had that view above the clouds any foggy day in SF by going to Twin Peaks in the late morning or early afternoon. It is breathtaking and unique wherever it is and the hike probably helped you appreciate it more. Great video.
Thank you for showing this area in such a great video. I appreciate all of the footage and editing of these scenes that you guys have done. Even using a drone, wow! So pleased to hear you enjoying this place... Aysgarth Falls is a good place followed by a drive through Thoralby village to get to Buckden village and the Buckden Beck hidden waterfall valley.
Hi there, no It's in Yorkshire. The waterfall valley at Buckden is about 20 miles from Malham Cove that you visited in your video. A really lovely place. And Aysgarth Falls is a bit further on. You made the other places look really Fab with your video quality and editing. myyorkshiredales.co.uk/water/waterfalls/buckden-gill-falls/
Being from Cumbria in Northern England i feel lucky to live in Carlisle which is the capital of Cumbria where you were at.The Lake District is the most stunning place and i am glad you enjoyed yourself. Also watched your videos on Cornwall. That is also stunning.I don't go their often enough.
I think even British people forget how beautiful Britain can be sometimes. Great video, you've gained a new subscriber!
we take for granted places which we come from in opinion :/

You know, when you take everything into consideration, the country functions well, its safe, the people are friendly, the countryside is stunning, the architecture is amazing, a history that goes back to Stonehenge...the UK just might be the best place to live on Earth...
agreed
@Ptolemy tis the truth also
SamWeller Agree. England is no longer England.
I like to go for a holiday in the sun for a week or two
But cant think of any country id rather live permanently .
The history goes beyond Stonehenge matey....

+Ben Loader so true 😍
The Yorkshire Dales and The North Yorkshire Moors are the most beautiful places in England in my opinion
I'm from the Lake District - it's so cool seeing some bloggers exploring our beautiful region!!
It never ceases to amaze me how a small island like the UK can be so diverse and so beautiful almost wherever you go.
Thank you for reminding me how lovely my own country is, too often us Brits complain about living here, but it's bloody beautiful :)
I’m born and bread British and I’ve learned more about my home country from your videos than from anywhere else.

What a wonderful example you are for the British school system Paul Hay.

So glad you enjoyed the beautiful scenery, one thing we can be proud of....peace from UK.
oh England, my lion heart
Finally someone who doesn't base their opinion on London! And come to my part of the UK!
+Sam Clough heck yeah. We love the north!
The Endless Adventure I own a shop 100 yards from the castle. You could've come in! Had a few Americans in recently so I wouldn't remember!

I'm literally in love now in this part of England :O Thank you !;)
The lake district is absolutely amazing! Glad you enjoyed the views too :)
I took my girlfriend to Malham cove on our first date :D it was so warm and we got sunburned but it is one of my favourite memories.
Thanks for taking me home, loved it glad you liked your visit. Hope many people see this and learn that London is not England, its just a little bit.
I actually prefer English places like hills and forests more when it's misty and drizzling
It gives it a pretty magical vibe when it's foggy and overcast. I think it was definitely more exciting hiking up in the fog, but we're glad we had sunlight at the top so we could really take everything in :)

If you head to the lake district consider it an appertiser for Scotlands highlands, just head over the border and enjoy.

You have taken the quality of your travel videos to the next level with this refreshing look at Northern England. I would have guessed you were stood on top of Mount Everest with the clouds below must have been well worth the long climb.

So glad for touching on yorkshire in this blog , please come back and see more of ' gods own country ' 😊
I could watch the end of that for a long while!
Lakedistrict in the summer is even more beautiful
They say it is grim up north, but they do not know.
exactly!
I think that phrase was started by us northerners as a way to dissuade the southerners from coming up here. ;)
better than staying in the capital where you hardly hear English spoken.
I'm from a bit further north, the LAND OF THE PRINCE BISHOPS, COUNTY DURHAM, it snows in May.

the Mother country of so many.
This warms my heart been a northern I know there life beyond London
So great that you folk have taken the time to learn so much our beautiful country xx

I wish we had more time there! Unfortunately it got dark right as we arrived 😬 But the hike up Helvellyn was spectacular. Best hike we've done so far!
Really wonderful sceneries
Absolutely beautiful!! Thanks for another great video you two.
Great video. We visited Malham Cove yesterday for the first time and was incredible. Once we got on top of the cove we then walked to Gordale Scar and then Janets Foss. Definitely need to give Helvellyn a try next.
I love how you use the drone to show us things we cannot see.
wow.. just wow!!! You guys what an amazing video!! so beautiful! I really enjoyed watching it :)
Awww thank you Mimi! ❤️ Shout out to England for being just so dang picturesque!
Omg.. some of those shots with y'all on precarious rock cliffs and edges took my breath away...PLEASE be CAREFUL😖🙏👍💜
Thank you for coming up north I live up here so it's great
Great drone shots! especially going across the Viaduct
Thanks so much! It was amazing to see from the ground level, but having the drone made it that much more epic :)
I'm in Yorkshire, so glad you guys saw the north
Us too. We really enjoyed it!
Me too
Very good... some excellent footage.
You should have visited Britain in the summer time!
So glad that you enjoyed your time in my home county
The lake district is beautiful but it's always bloody raining : )
Where do you think the water for the lakes comes from?
@@DrSkeff The sky ?
Great video. They keep getting better and better.
Great video lovely place you should come down to Devon one day we love are views to.
Are views? You edited it ???? OUR!
Cumbria in general has the best views in England for me everything is just natural, glad yous loved it
Alot of this video was also Yorkshire Dales :) Cumbria is amazing though!
My favourite part of England, knocks spots off even Cornwall, Scarfell and Great Gable have great views too.
That Jordyn Edmonds beat is just SIIIIICK. I gotta find that one
Ok, that was pretty amazing.
Excellent!!! I'm glad you liked it,I live about 30 miles from Malham.
I live in Northallerton and love living in the north of England

Helvellyn is amazing, I wish I was there. Great views, great video.
I’ve stood behind that waterfall at 1:47. You can clamber across the rock face and stand behind it. It’s amazing
I have been to all places in Britain of special beauty, to see castles and cathedrals. There are hardly any towns that I have not visited in the UK.
Thank you guys so much for showing the beauty that we have here in the UK.
I'm getting the bug to go out exploring again.
Love all of your videos.
Happy adventuring.
