It might be impossible to add a color wheel because of the core of the game but the team mightve made some advancements since cat and dogs
@@julierachel19 At the very least more color swatches. And seeing as what theyve done for skin tones I dont see why they couldnt implement a more thorough system
@@julierachel19 Considering that it's not a problem to add skin and makeup swatches, I don't think it would be a problem to add eye and hair colour swatches. And we really could use those!

I honestly wouldn’t mind if they put a hold on new expansions and packs....just to update the game to standards that should have been set at release. I mean, we’re getting skin tones and customizable makeup how many years into playing this game?? I really want the Sims team to reach out to our modding community and work with them to better the base of the game. Mods have added so much content to our game, it’s ridiculous. It’s to the point that people (including myself) are paying modders to work on specific inclusions and gameplay ideas that come out well before anything the actual Sims team could make for us.
i agree.. i wish they would stop coming out with so many weird, half-thought packs and try giving us a color wheel and customizable patterns and stuff and all of that. they need to redo their team and hire some modders because honestly they know what we want. but the sims doesn't. but sadly they don't care that much about customer satisfaction anymore since it's not as profitable
they mis the money packs bring more buck then the standed game

I have a question how come modders take at the most a couple months to make big mods but the actual sims team takes forever to do something as simple as skin tones????

@dr103 Sis. Am not worried about my skintone cc, am worried about my make-up cc. Am one of the people who are rlly happy w this change, just The makeup part is kinda sad since I have over 500 pieces of makeup cc for all skintones and styles. Waiting for reuploads will be pain.

Yes I need sliders for haircolors and eyecolors as well but skin tones are such a brilliant start please continue working on the base game also platforms and sentiments love it keep up the good work for as you say ,,the game we deserve" yes please also for clothes and objects sliders would be good but like maybe in 2 different updates 1 with facial sliders for hair and eyes and stuff and one for clothes and 1 for the objects themself keep your time and work with the modders they know who the game works

Nice to see the changes but I don't think they always need to be read out from the community page, I notice this in other videos and I think we all capable of reading it ourselves. Maybe a summary followed by the demonstration would be better.
I have been trying to update my sims game for the past hour in order to access the new skin tones update, but for some reason every time I repair my game or update it , I open up my sims game to see nothing has changed. I have already changed automatic updates to off mode. Anyone happen to know how to help me? I’m desperate 😬😬
I can only imagine how much cc I have to sort through, just to see what skin tones messed up. 🤣😂

I am super happy about the skintones; mostly just worried about this breaking my makeup cc because I don't use EA's makeup....ever.
Hope that the sims team fix the broken windows after the last windiws update
2:50 - it's just categorizing the tones, fire is warm, leaf is neutral, ice cube cool and dots miscellaneous
