I have the Iena MM in Monogram and love it. I've traveled all over Europe with it and it fits everything I need including my 13" laptop, perfectly. I'm amazed at how much weight it can hold without worrying about the straps tearing the canvas. I don't use the lock because I swing it around too much and sometimes it hits my car door.

I just love my Iena mm in ebene. I use a neverfull mm size Samorga organizer to keep it more structured, when I want that look. I just love the feel of the canvas on the bag so squishy and it smells divine. Great video Jennifer! 💕

I love your videos! I was so torn between the neverfull or the iena but you helped me decide to get the iena! I bought in monogram in the MM size a few weeks ago and I'm absolutely loving it so far!

Great video! I have this bag in Monogram and I love it. I originally went in to purchase a Neverfull but fell in love with this one. The zipper and front pocket totally sold me.

I love your Iena! Every time I see one of your videos on her it reminds me so much of my Saleya (the gm with the front zipper). I’m wondering if the similarity in styles was intentional; they’re just so alike. There are almost no videos of saleya here on RUclips, so I enjoy watching your videos very much!
The Iena does seem very similar to the Saleya! Both seem to be very practical and useful bags!
I have it in the azur with pink and I have used and loved it all Summer. Love the pink, just makes me happy when I see it. Great bag!

Beautiful bag, I have monogram purchased in 2017. I use daily as a work bag. There are two negatives; one is that one strap always falls off of my arm, I constantly have to lift strap and place back on shoulder. Second issue, one strap on the monogram is already splitting (top and bottom piece of Vachetta) , bag is only three years old. Strap on my Escale Neverful does not fall off shoulder, so thinner straps might be better in that respect.

I love my Iena too! I bought mine afrer watching your first review on it. Couldn't decide between the Neverful and the Iena, thought the Iena felt softer and sturdier than the Neverful. Also, it seems like everyone has a Nerverful so it is nice to have something a little different!

I really considered getting this bag when we were in Rome. I ended up falling in love with the "Jersey" in DE (I think that is all it comes in) with black. Had I not seen that one upon release before we went, I probably would have come home with this one! Seems like such a work horse. 😍
The LV Jersey in DE with black is my favorite color combo! Lovely!! Yes, the Iena is a great workhorse, everyday bag, for sure! :)
Hello Jennifer, I actually visited the LV store in Marina Bay Sands here in SG to check on Iena, when I tried it on it looks like Long Champ bag on me. So I am not sure about getting it as work bag but what I like is it really fits a lot of things.

I love your video. I can't decide between pm or mm. I will use it for errands in the summer. I have the neverfull mm, and feel its too bulky. So maybe pm??

OMG that for this video. I have been making my fall bag wishlist....and I have a totally pm which I love but later realized that it is too small for work....I didn't want to buy an MM in the same print but now I think the Iena will fit the bill.. I didn't realize how many pockets it had....I have a duomo hobo and I love that squishy canvas

This bag looks wonderful. I know I told you about the bad online experience I had when I tried to order it from LV. I am fearful to try and order online again. I guess I will just have to wait until I am able to visit an actual store. Until then, I salivate over your Iena every time I see it. :)

I'm so glad I saw your videos on this bag because the measurements on the lv website didn't seem right. I ended up ordering the mm size in the Azur print and it looks like you love the bag! I have the Neverfull so I think I'm going to love that front zipper. I've heard rumors that LV is discontinuing their canvas print bags so I wanted to get one more before that happens. Have you heard anything about that?
I have heard rumors about the canvas also... I have heard, though, that they will not sell canvas in the stores, but only online. In that case, I am relieved. But I really don't know how much truth is behind the rumors. LV has been doing things lately that have been very different than the way they have done business for the last many, many years, so maybe they are trying to completely change direction with the brand. SO glad you got the Iena! I know you will love her! :)

I do not have trouble with the straps falling off my shoulders. I totally understand that concern, as that would bother me, too! :)
Hi Jennifer- looks like I’m a few years late on this video. I just bought the Iena preloved and it’s practically brand new although from 2017. My question is - does the coated canvas on the DE Iena MM seem more rubbery than other LV bags? I noticed the leather straps also feel like there is a rubbery coating on them as well. Poshmark authenticated the bag, but that’s not to say they are 100% correct all the time.
Hello! Congratulations on your fabulous Iena find! And YES, I do feel that the canvas and leather straps feel a tiny bit rubbery (I remember mentioning this once in a video and wondered if anyone else would tell me they felt the same way...) I bought mine straight from the LV store and know it's 100% authentic, so you have no need to worry about yours if it feels this way too. Mine has held up beautifully and I couldn't be more happy with it! Enjoy!
@@JustJennifer Thanks! I saw that video after I sent my note to you. 😊 I also scored a Totally MM in DE that seems practically brand new as well. Trying to do a comparison of potential travel bags. Each have their advantages, so hopefully, I’ll get to try them out sooner than later. Who knows, right?
I'm gearing up to make my *first* luxury handbag purchase soon! Woop! I keep going back and forth between this bag and the Totally. I have a 9 month old and a 2 year old and definitely won't be using it as a diaper bag, but baby items always seem to find their way to creep into my purse :) I think I'm going to go with DE because we are going into fall/winter. I don't think I would fully enjoy the monogram canvas because I'd be so worried to ruin it! Any other big difference between this bag and the Totally (besides the sturdiness) that you noticed?
Congratulations!! You are a busy mom with your little ones and you deserve a lovely bag! DE is definitely the way to go! I have never owned a Totally, but it seems they are sturdier (less squishy) like you mentioned, but other than that I guess the biggest difference would be the pockets. Think about which interior and exterior pockets you would prefer. I think you can't go wrong with either choice, so try them each on (if you are able to) and go with the one that makes you happiest! :)
🤗 Does the purse organizer keep the bag more structured? I'm getting ready to use this bag for the first time on a trip to New England in the Fall and prefer it to be a little more structured.Thanks Doll
Yes! I have a bag organizer that I use in my Iena at times, and it does help the bag remain a bit more structured. :)
Great video as always and thanks to seeing your other reviews I bought it in Azur and D Ebene. I can see me using the DE one all winter since it is so carefree, light weight and full of space for everything imaginable!

I have the Iena in monogram and love it !! But I'm just afraid of the durability of it after seeing videos on the quality of the new LV bags . I'm afraid to load up my Iena because I'm not sure it can handle it 🙁
I'm so glad you are loving the Iena in monogram! I would love to have it in monogram, as well. I'm sorry you are afraid to use your bag to it's fullest. I currently own a Neverfull mm in monogram I also own the Iena DE so I can't decide if I should get a Neverfull mm DE which I've been wanting prior & still to owning the Iena but I feel like the Iena is a lot like the Neverfull DE since you own both what are your thoughts on this? Should I or not??
Hi Beth! In my opinion...the Neverfull is more of a tote bag (travel, airplane bag, shopping tote...etc) and the Iena is more of a shoulder bag. And that is how I use mine, really. I grab my Neverfull when I have a lot of items to gather together and take somewhere, and the Iena when I want a good sized (purse) bag. You have a Neverfull mm in mono, so you may not need it in DE. If you decide to get the Neverfull mm in DE, I totally understand! It is a great bag in all canvases! :)
Just Jennifer thank you for getting back with me. I'm going to hold on getting the Neverfull MM DE for now and add another type of bag to have variety and maybe revisit the idea of adding another Neverfull to my collection.
Love that bag. Someday I may get that. For now I have a Fossil bag that is similar.

Please, do you know how much weight it can withstand without the canvas tearing/straps breaking? (15" laptop + 1 liter filled bottle + Kindle + 2 heavy A4 folders, umbrella, Sarah wallet + full pochette NM + Agenda MM + toiletry 19 + a few more knicknacks). Thank you very much in advance!
Hello! I think the Iena/MM/DE is the perfect workhorse bag! I have packed it pretty well and it seems to withstand a lot of weight. I do want you to know, that while the 15" laptop fits (and zips) ...it fits a bit sideways and doesn't allow a lot of room for too many other items. If you don't zip the top when you are carrying your laptop, that would allow more items to fit. Have you seen the video I have where I show my 15" laptop in the Iena? I think it was one of the first Iena videos I did... (?) Without the laptop, you could fit everything you mentioned, for sure.

I purchased this bag shortly after you showed your's on You Tube. Unfortunately, mine had a strong chemical smell and I had to return mine. The SA said the smell would go away over time, but because I have asthma I couldn't wait it out. Did your Iena have an odor when you brought it home? I'm tempted to look at the monogram.
CapeCodBelle Mine did! I ordered one from the LV website and when it arrived, the chemical smell was terrible. I did return it and it and just recently bought it again at the store, this one did not have such a strong scent, but I can very faintly smell it if I put my nose to it.
That is awful!! NO! I would not keep a bag with a chemical smell, either! Mine had and has no smell at all. I can't imagine what could be causing the smell yours had. Very disappointing of LV.

Hi again, Jennifer: can you please measure (if possible in cm) the actual bottom rectangle of the bag, as I think the LV official website measures refer to the *top*, and its length is way bigger than the bottom´s? So I don´t order an organizer that´s too long, but fits perfectly. Thanks so much again!
Hello again! :) The bottom rectangle of the bag measures 31.1cm x 16.5cm.

Hello Ivana. I think I prefer my Iena as a everyday handbag and my Neverfull MM as a tote. They work equally as well as a travel bag (preference would depend on whether or not you want/need a zipper) Greetings to Prague!!

You know, looks still deceive. I was looking on to the Neverfull GM and this one is bigger by roughly a couple centimeters. But I think the zippered top is deceiving, although this one is much bigger. I use beach bags a lot when travelling, and I'm still undecided since it's going to be the primary use, beach bag/cruising bag, gym bag. Still undecided and the nearest Louis Vuitton is in Rio de Janeiro, 3 hour flight :)

I have barely stopped using it long enough to store it.... But during the short period of time I've used another bag, I stuffed it with those plastic air pillows (some people call it "air paper") :)
does the bottom of the iena slouch when full?
Yes, a little bit. It seems to be a softer canvas.
Love this bag although I've been cheating on her with my Chanel Deauville for travel. I plan on making the my go to bag in the Fall :)

It is truly very light!! Of course, the final weight will depend on what you carry in it, but the bag itself is light. :)

Oh one question tho! Do you feel the sharp corners are going to be an issue with wear in the future, how do they look now?
The corners still look perfect! I had an Artsy for many years and it also has the same type corners...no problem with the Artsy corners either. :)

I was much more "precious" with my LV and other luxury brands when I first started buying them. But after many years of use and wear, and seeing how they hold up beautifully...I have become more comfortable with how I handle them. I have many bags that are over 10 years old and they look practically new! :) Life's too short- USE the bag!
Congratulations on your new Iena!! The newer LV bags have tended to have more issues lately, but in general, LV bags are very durable. I haven't had my Iena long enough to know how it will hold up, but so far it still looks brand new!
