I don't know about dietary habits of Naga when it comes to dogs but we Zo usually treat it as a celebratory meat, we don't eat it on a daily basis. And some consider it as a vice meat because youngsters take it with alcohol my parents detest dog meat like the 7 deadly sins. You will plenty of of dog meat delicacies in Aizawl hotels but haven't seen an open street sale for a long time.

So me and my friends used to go there and ask 2 of the Camp guards to secretly give us their guard dogs, we got them really cheap and we took upto 4 dogs in a month. Then their commander came to know of it and beat them up real bad. I felt so sorry for those boys. True story

When that lady opened the door and those poor tied dogs lifted their eyes like waiting for salvation, it hurts a lot. Of course I'm being selective here and it just does not justify.
