As a Korean-American, I know all too well about Korean beauty standards. I’m not surprised Song Hye Kyo is featured in this video. Admittedly, I follow her on IG. I personally find women with slightly masculine features aka androgynous women with symmetric, protruding and sharp facial features very attractive. The hyper feminine doll like asian aesthetic isn’t for me. Are those androgynous women typically tomboys growing up?
No. It has nothing to do with it. I was and am still a tomboy but my face is almost a 100% feminine dimorphism. A lot of the robust faces are surgical. Angelina Jolie, Ariana Grande most of these famed square jawline are implants.

This was very interesting to watch especially because i (and a lot of people who said that to me randomly) consider myself attractive and i have almost all masculine attractive features. I have thick low set eyebrows, defined (low fat and masculine) jawline and small (ig) almond shaped eyes. (And my jaw appears dominant tp my cheekbones from lower angle, but my cheekbones are surely more feminine). It's especially interesting how everyone think my eyes are my most attractive feature. I'm just wondering does this mean i should dye my eyebrows brown, since they are blondish and grayish while my hair is brown.
Very interesting. I am an Androgynous looking guy and am the opposite of you. I have almost entirely feminine facial features. Full thick lips, high-set high-arched eyebrows, very long eye lashes, small curved female-like nose, my hair even looks very feminine. The only masculine trait on my face is my chin and jawline. Even though I am not usually attracted to masculine looking traits on a female I definitely find you very attractive looking just from seeing your profile pic. I never heard men say when they talk about a woman they find attractive "Yeah she has these thick masculine eyebrows and a strong jaw. amazing..." When a woman has a good bone structure it is still a feminine bone structure and a significator for health. When women in bodybuilding take steroids their faces become highly masculinized and they lose their beauty. Women are butchering their faces out of their body dysmorphia with things like buccal fat removal to get a "robust face" and this shows that masculine features in women are preferred?! Haha quite true. I think women are so scared to be feminine, because femininity implies natural vulnerability, that they would rather fill their jawline full of juviderm and chop off their breasts. The trans trend and the overmasculisation of beauty trends seem to have a lot in common. I like beautiful faces that are unique and not follow trends. Most celebs get the same procedures and look more and more uniform.

And yet you focus on everything about the mouth area except that. Really odd given this channels objective.
The hollow cheeks tho look sickly. I've never met any women in rl with them. It's pretty rare. But people are getting buccal fat removal nowadays to achieve that look. Women tend to have higher facial fat. The modeling industry are definitely hellbent on androgyny and being stick skinny.

Makes sense, 'masculine' is attractive and desirable, regardless of gender. It follows patriarchal logic. The only thing that changes through ages is the definition of masculine.
Soo many things that are being said on this channel are completely false. Clearly this guy hasn't learned how to interpret studies and he doesn't know how that you should always name the first author listed of a scientific paper. He doesn't mention that in the study about the eyebrow positioning, the subjects all judged the high eyebrow type to be more attractive. Please don't believe everything this guy says, he's very biased.
Lifted eyebrows does NOT have an aging effect, it's the exact opposite. If you know a little bit about human anatomy, you know that when we age the skin becomes less elastic and is starting to sag down. That's why older people have lower eyebrows compared to when they were younger. I can't believe he is saying such nonsense, at least when it comes to eyebrows on women.
I don't like any of these traits. In my opinion, these are things gay men like to see in models. I'm a Westerner but I guess I mostly prefer East Asian beauty standards.
It's because hellywood wants to gender confuse, emasculated men and masculinise women so that we're all end up unhappy and living divorced from the original God's design. We shouldn't fall for it but many do.

Hello,QOVES,l very like your works,Can i reprint your works to Chinese website, will indicate the author and your tubingaddress.
I wonder how the narrator looks since he seems to be so much of an expert on what makes a person look attractive????
Why would that matter? R u by any chance tying attractive-ness to knowledge?
@@klsit3528 what knowledge ????

The hollow cheeks tho look sickly. I've never met any women in rl with them. It's pretty rare. But people are getting buccal fat removal nowadays to achieve that look. Women tend to have higher facial fat. The modeling industry are definitely hellbent on androgyny and being stick skinny.
Are you south african by any chance?
So basically be as close to Brooke Shields and Adriana Lima as possible
No, be as harmonious in your features as possible. Marilyn Monroe still stands and her face was almost utterly feminine.
Yesss Brooke Shields, Adriana Lima,Jennifer Connelly
@@exysness Madison Beer has superb facial harmony, but her features aren’t as striking as Brooke Shields due to the lack of androgyny
She also had a lot of surgery

I am a siren... feminine and tad masculine. I am a goddess. No filler. No surgery. I am 53!!!! 53!!!! i look 33. I take COLLAGEN
Get over yourself. lol
Sorry but 53 cannot look 33 without help. I know because I’m 49. I’ve done Botox. What helps me is I still have a normal cycle.
Research collagen supplements or powder because they don’t work.
@@peacelove7437 i never had surgery too expensive...and I look 20 years younger than I am.
Makes sense, 'masculine' is attractive and desirable, regardless of gender. It follows patriarchal logic. The only thing that changes through ages is the definition of masculine.
certain feminine features also look good on men 🙄
I wish embracing the way you look was the norm instead of changing it.

Bro don’t forget about men!
Are there any feminine features that look good on men?
Full lips is one
Not a lot. Men are fuck in terms of variety, you are either hot or not. In women there's more variety of attractive features

I don't like any of these traits. In my opinion, these are things gay men like to see in models. I'm a Westerner but I guess I mostly prefer East Asian beauty standards.
No they don’t.

they DON'T look good on women. Most people are just conditioned to think that way because of Hollywood and the fashion industry
wonder why "hollywood" praises this andro look... hm not because many were originally men , that couldnt be..
This andro look also makes both men and women look much younger than their actual age
It's because hellywood wants to gender confuse, emasculated men and masculinise women so that we're all end up unhappy and living divorced from the original God's design. We shouldn't fall for it but many do.
@@harsh3948making men look younger than their actual age isn’t good
