    Nice to see JRB win that hand. Never bluffing on that spot

    I’ve always liked JRB. People can say what they want, but I’ve never seen him be disrespectful to another player… takes numerous bad, beats well… And we all know he runs extremely bad😂

      That was not adrenaline induced shaking the way a novice will shake with a monster. Was his leg moving. Something I also do but usually in more tense situations like chess. But JRB is never bluffing a whale there.

      @jaybingham3711 7 месяцев назад

      @@justinkauffman731Yep. That's bouncing. From rapid heel tapping. If it was shaking, that would typically carry over to his hands. But it's a form of nervous energy all the same. Which is very idiosyncratic as to what it means for any particular person.

      for novice players they usually get more adrenaline when they have a good hand vs bluffing. Real palpitations like that is usually when you have a nut hand. I would have folded that was clearly genuine adrenaline-- JRB is a terrible player for being a professional . Its really baffling... makes me think all these shows are fake because why would anyone stake him. @@smartyjonez5470

      Exactly. People have to take into consideration how deep these guys are. If Matt makes the raise for value and Charles jams, and has the nuts, Matt is losing a massive amount of money.

    His A-high flush....
    Whenever the board pairs, you need to assume a full house could be out there and play your hand much more cautiously--and be ready to throw away an A-high flush.
    Never ever go huge when the board has paired.

      That's called clumpiness. It necessarily has to happen in the large probability space that is poker. Someone is going start their 'career' where an extreme amount of bad beats gets front-loaded. Colloquially, that's called run-bad. On the other end of the spectrum, someone sun-runs. You have zero control of such things. No amount of skills can help you. It's just another aspect of the various ways luck manifests statistically. And it doesn't ever have to balance out...given that humans can only ever play a limited number of hands in a lifetime. Even if they have endless funds. But run-bad can decimate one's bankroll and ability to play long enough to see a substantive turnaround. It happens a lot. But that's rarely what makes headlines. Instead, it's the sun-runners that get highlighted. Because we're horribly biased and highly selective of what info we want to hear.

      LOL...the game of NLH is based on concealing the truth. If you're lying during the hand, why is it somehow unethical to fib about your holdings or decision making after the hand? The game is still going on. There's hand by-hand strategy, and then there's a psychological strategy that last throughout the session.
