Passenger shot and killed on Pacific Highway identified as Lakewood woman

- The woman who was shot and killed in a car traveling in Lakewood on Monday has been identified.
Lakewood police are investigating after 35-year-old Leslie Crossley was pronounced dead outside of a Holiday Inn Express on Pacific Highway Southwest.
Lakewood officers were dispatched after multiple people reported shots fired in the 5100 block of Chicago Avenue Southwest. At the same time, a woman called 911 and said she was driving down Pacific Highway and her passenger had been shot. The woman pulled over outside the hotel to meet first responders. Police responded to both locations.

This is terrible. Hopefully, the perpetrators get caught.

OMG in the 70’s my mother lived in Bellflower my Aunt in Lakewood my other Aunt in Norwalk never any crime or worries back then but I remember going back to visit in the late 80’s all the white people were gone I though I was in Tijuana.

IMHO he simply forgot that he used plural “arrests.” Not every case of a grammar gaffe is due to language skills.

Actually it is very nice small and relatively clean ,very minimum homeless . Industrial and residential areas .Houses range from $450 k and up but not luxury.Its definitely ain't bad area and very diverse .Many retired veterans received their homes here .
