it's ok to feel like that. nobody is born with the knowledge of everything, that's why as you grow older you develop interests and then you grow into them by exercising them and later on mastering them. so you're a perfect example of what being a human actually is

I admire your work ethic, positivity and self acceptance so much! I am in the beginning of nursing school and was just telling a classmate about how inspiring your vlogs are and to check out your channel. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. I love listening to your progress, and gaining insight on what to expect as a nursing student/new nurse. I watched your previous vid on your ICU experience the other day when I was feeling defeated from the challenges of school, but your inspiring words really helped me to understand that we're all going to have bad days at some point in our career whether we're a student or RN. You're awesome and so inspiring so thank you for being such an awesome role model! 💕

I was in the ICU of a major HMO with sepsis a few years ago
I woke up to a male nurses chasing a young nurse around the nurses' station
When a nurse came in the morning to put me in a wherlchair and to take me to a bed on a ward, she winced when he said loudly to a coworker "Let go out and get some real vulvas"
I think eveyone will know the actual extremely vulgar and offensive word he used
I reported him and as a consequence I was treated very badly and cruelly by the nurses for the week I was there
They would not let me have water until 2 attending physicians ordered the to provide it
you give me so much hope. ❤
Do you work with occupational therapists? What exactly do they do?
What charting system were you learning back then?
I'm starting nursing school. I'm really excited, but I'm afraid too. I've read that it is hard. Is it really that hard? I would appreciate to hear some of your opinions. 😊

Do you feel like a new grad can go into the ICU without other training?
I think they definitely can! But I will say...after my own personal experience...I am thankful I did not go into the ICU as a new grad. :) But I do know many nurses who did and who were successful!
