I respect you for going through multiple level caps to prove the bug isn't what it actually is and gave us more than enough evidence for it. nice job man. Although the visual bug still is a bummer i cant tell how much damage I actually am doing.
I ran one lvl cap. If you go down and manually revive, the bug resets, so I just recorded the non-bugged footage at the end of the run. It was still weird to play with the smoke VFX and they really need to sort out the key drops on Armatus or maybe spawn more Gruzzlings.
Yea looking at the game logs it can be a visual bug that can range from millions dmg too billions just depends how long you stack it for its weird i forgot to add a note about that this reminded
