As well as better character development. I mean I don't mind characters who aren't saints but Kratos genuinely sickened me at points. So much so that not even his backstory gave me much sympathy for him.

Sinrai Paleodemon heck yeah. well, yes they both killed gods, as did Kratos, but it's those god's power level that is what's important, Chakravartan is waaaayyy more power full then all the GOW gods and Bayonetta's combined. and asura can freaking destroy galaxies. that alone blows those other two out of the water.
I like to see Bayonetta fight Chakravartin.

You know Bayonetta's 2nd game, where she fought the final villain who was omnipotent? When I saw that I began thinking how she would fair against Chakravartin.

You know, I recently had this fanfic idea that Asura's Wrath is a very distant prequel to Gurren Lagann. How?
Just think about it. How could the Anti-Spirals become so threatening? Because there was no God to stop them. Why wasn't there a God? Because Asura killed God. Thus, the collective cries of a universe suffering under the yoke of the Anti-Spirals ended up reincarnating Asura into Simon.

Capcom didn't make the game they just licensed it. It was Cyber Connect 2 that made the game.

When I played that scene, I swear I had a tear for how perfect it was.
It would be funny if Asura punched Mithra and his arm shattered while Mithra only got a small bruise.

i was mad that capcom tried sold the rest of the chapters as DLC, but i loved this game so much that i did, and i gotta say it was worth it, this was one of the greatest endings i've ever seen for a videogame

Funny you should mention Asura as Berserker. Theres a FSN fanfic called Fate Stay Awake that has a omake where they do alternate summonings and gets Asura as Berserker, and he just stomps everyone. And mentioned wanting Abridged Popo as Caster

18:43 Actually, Capcom was planning a sequel to Asura's Wrath, then when the game didn't sell well they released the ending as DLC. Besides, from what I've been told by someone messing with the game data one time, the true ending doesn't actually fit on the base game's disk.

I think with that last punch you blew off part of gods face.
Also I think they should have played the song they had at the credits when asuras daughter called out to him when he rushed to end god for emotional effect.

well yeah there's that are you can just run to the side, though rolling through it with 'dat timing' helps close the distance, i've also thought about trying to roll through his move where he creates a circle of fire around himself.

I've looked, but I can't seem to find it-- a shame, because I would *love* to hear these two comment on the Destructor Asura/Chakravartin battle.
Yes there is a Part 23. Sadly I had to reupload it, but I'll have you know that it's up and in the Asura's Wrath Playlist. I suggest just looking it up since it's not really in the related videos for some reason.

I give credit to Clover Studios for developing Viewtiful Joe despite it being labeled as a CAPCOM game.
CC2 is great at what it does especially with Naruto, .Hack and this game from my experience.

lets not forget the wonderful people at cyberconnect2 either, i've been a fan of them for a long while now, heck i saw alot of .hack//G.U. and ultimate ninja in this game and it's just great that they pulled a left feild story out of their rears after cc2 and capcom looked at each other like 'we can do something awesome'

Okay, I need to point this out... This isn't actually a Capcom game. Capcom is only the publisher. The creator of Asura's Wrath is CyberConnect2, the company behind all of the .hack games (among others).

the dlc here wouldn't fit on the disc, which i'm pretty sure this game could have gone for 59.99 instead of 39.99 and this dlc could have been worth 10-20 bucks if they really wanted, if you think about it though
